Playoff Push

Post#1 » by fnasser » Mon Mar 3, 2008 5:56 pm

Just would like to point out that the schedule isn't completely in our favor for us making the playoffs yet. Since I can't see Dallas or Phoenix missing the playoffs, it should be noted that even though Denver is playing Phoenix, Spurs, Jazz, and Spurs again, all those teams have a game the night before they face the Nuggets while the Nuggets only have the Jazz on a back to back, where Utah will be playing against Phoenix the night before.

Let's hope that the Spurs get serious against the Nuggets both times and Phoenix figures out a way to win a game.

What do you mean "the Spurs need to get serious against the Nuggets"? The Spurs are merely 0.5 games ahead of the Lakers. Every game matters for that team, and they'll look to lock up their 1st seed.

And our schedule isn't as bad as you think. Other playoff contenders have similar schedules with the similar difficulty. If we beat the remaining Eastern Conference teams and weaker teams of the West, we should be fine.

This could very easily have been posted into the already existing 31 page thread.
