How about the Marion for Sheed deal that got turned down by Kerr? Actually, he didn't turn down, he made a counter offer of Marion for Sheed AND Prince PLUS a 1st rounder. Of course Joe laughed it off

What have we become...the KNICKS?!?!

Uh, our starters wud still be makin more $$$ then our bench (I least I think so)

Even if it wud wind up that way as long as our team plays beta I don't give an ish bout our role to bucks ratio

Wel,i got to admit, im a little worried, but not too much, i just cant follow with th idea o a team with Nash, STAT and Shaq struggling... IMO the suns need to get shaq more involved offensively. they need to adapt to shaq and not the other way around. they hace been trying and it is not working, so start tryigto play some real half court offense! Thats just my opinion, they can run and gun all they want with Shaq on the bench, but when the game is on the line they got to play some decent half court game.

On the defensive side... i dont know how can this team get better without a key aquisition.... i would like newbie here... he can be a poor's man marion on D. Well see...

I'm calling 4th Seed. We'll be fine, we're not MISSING THE FREAKING PLAYOFFS.

Nash will figure it out. My trust in him overrides D'Antoni's retardation.

Shaq is playing himself into shape, we've seen this before. And he always turns it up in the playoffs, as does Amare, as does Nash.

As a Laker fan I can tell you thats bull.

Shaq first season Miami he avg 23ppg 10rpg 2.3bpg during the season. In the playoffs he avg 19ppg 7.8rpg 1.5bpg the following season he avg 20ppg 9rpg 1.8bpg then in the playoffs 18ppg 10rpg 1.5bpg even his fg% dropped.

His Finals in 2006 13/10 to add to your post.^

He hasn't really turned it up since he was "young" in LA.

I don't think Shaq is done. I remember the first time we played Miami this season, Shaq definitely had an impact on the game. He was aggressive and yes dirty, throwing elbows at Grant and Amare. We need to see passion. Right now, I see a bunch of talented players with no fire and no confidence. They would've been able to beat Philly any other day of the week. I just think that doubt is starting to creep into their minds.

If Mike can start spreading out minutes to other players, resting Bell and Nash, and utilizing Shaq in the post, I think our results will be much better and we may even see W's.

I don't think we're using him right. The other night he scored pretty often when posted up and isolated in the low block. It was only when he got pissed off (forgot why) and tried to do too much that he started acting like a spaz. Those post up moments are pretty much the only times I've seen him not look lost on offense.
