Monta dissed by league

Post#1 » by GSWhoopfan » Mon Mar 3, 2008 10:36 pm

im sorry but it should have been a no brainer for Monta to win player of the month. hes in elite company to shoot 60% in a month. Kobe is great and plays with Gasol. Monta carried this team in February.
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010

I saw that too. Damn Kobe. He gets it becaue of the Lakers record (not that his stat line sucked or anything) but Monta deserved it as PLAYER of the month. The lakes are going to get a damn ring again. Does Kobe really need this award over Monta?

f :censored: in Lakers.

He can get all those awards after we lock him up for six years.

You said you want him for 6 years, what kind of terms are you talking about. Monta is sick, but is he worth 10 mil per? What will he settle for, is he happy in GS? Thanks

Kobe 27.2 ppg 5.0 rpg 5.9 apg 2.1 spg .507 FG%

Monta 26.0 ppg 4.7 rpg 4.8 apg 1.3 spg .602 FG%

not sure the difference was enough to overcome the mind boggling 60% from the field tho...thats select company home skillets

As much as I hate Kobe and would like Monta to get recognition, Kobe plays defense. End of story.

Somebody needs to pull a Tonya Harding on Kobe. The thought of him lifting the championship trophy over his head sends a chill down my spine.

Well, Monta's just gonna have to keep putting it up every month until the league gets it i guess. :D

I don't mind Kobe winning a championship more than I do Phil Jackson. That guy just zens out and keeps ending up with loaded teams.

Yup.

Besides, I bet most of the dudes who voted had no idea Monta shot 60+%. People are catching on though...there's a lot more hype out there. A couple cousins of mine in Chicago are noticing him. And they aren't HUGE NBA fans...they just like the Bulls.

Okay... you volunteered right?

I promised to give $10 for your defense fund.

This award is irrelevant. No one will remember it two months from now. All that matters is that Monta Ellis is quickly evolving into our best player.

Man, if only those censored emoticons weren't there I'd know what you're trying to say.
