He'd have to duplicate history to get even close, and even then so, No.

Melo vs Wade

I don't think they do but we have seen if you replaced him with Kobe or Lebron already.

Similar talent levels, but Wade is so much more poised.

Carmelo would not get the gift whistles, so no, they wouldn't win.

If Carmelo played with Walker, he would probably listen to some horrible Antoine Walker advice and just start chucking threes for the rest of his career.

We would have swept Miami if Dwyane didn't turn into Jordan for the last 4 games

No, because the refs are not attracted to Carmelo. :p

They wouldn't have even got psat NJ IMO and if they did, they DEFINITELY wouldn't have gotten past Detroit.

Shaq/Melo in 2006? Mavs win 4-0.

Wade, Kobe, Bron, and Melo all get too much love from the refs... Wade is just exploits it most aggressively and in doing so seems to have shortened hs career and possibly put his long term health at risk.

I haven't seen a wing player single handidly take over a series like that in a long time. I haven't seen that type of play from Melo in the regular season let alone the NBA finals.

Bron did a great job against the Pistons last year and I wouldn't say he was on the level of Wade in those finals.

Until someone else has a similar experience in the POs, I say Wade is the only guy that could have done that.

Wade makes everything look pretty.

Melo doesn't.
