Will this be the last year for the Yao and T-mac experiment?
I did a thread like this a few months ago, but now with the injury to Yao I think it needs to be addressed again.
I am trying to figure out who would be the best to work with Yao Ming other than T-mac in the league and I am not so sure whom.
Both players seem to have been getting injured quite frequently and I think unless the team gets out of the 1st round this year then either Yao or Mcgrady would have to go.
I am curious on what others think on this.
In order for the the Yao and T-mac experiment to stay together, what has to happen for the Rockets this season?

I thought before Yao's injury they'd give it one more year if they made it out of R1, and might give it one more season if they did not get out of R1, for more time under Adelman - but I think they'll definitely give it another year now with Yao's injury.

i think they will keep it going
why isn't the 3rd important member of this team included?
It is the Yao, Battier, T-Mac experiment
Battier is that professional presence that cannot be replaced. I could see VC fitting better with Yao becuase he is a slightly better passer than TMac, but I'd rather have TMac and his contract status than VC.

Yes he can carry a team; 8-7 record without McGrady. He has played the best ball of his career when McGrady doesn't play.

tmac have injury problems, same with wade, yao also, but same with shaq in his first 8 years in the league, it's all about time, morey is an smart guy and will not break this combo who will win a championship in 2009-2010.
If one of the 2 best centers of the league is not a supestar, then tell me who is a superstar.
