Chucky Atkins back on Friday

Sidelined for the past two months while recovering from hernia surgery, the Nuggets point guard went through a full practice Monday and is targeting Friday for his return to the lineup.

"I had a good practice," Atkins said. "I did pretty much everything pretty much that we did. Even though practice was only 40 minutes, I was able to run and get up the court normally

At least in the first game. After that, Over and right about 5 if he gets in because AC has to get his 20-30 minutes to keep us small.

Idk why everyone is so negative. We get a real PG that can shoot the ball and create for himself. Also he is a veteren that knows how to share the ball. If you ask me this is jsut what we need. I promise you he is better than Lue and half the board wnated him! Idk what all this sucky chucky is about have you seen him play when he was not hurt. (Anytime before he was a nuggets cause ever since the 1st day with us he has been injured.)He certainly don't suck and IMHO we will see a much better team while a healthy chucky is out their.

He is exaclty what we need right now, I just hope he's not coming back to soon because we really cant afford to lose him if we want to make the playoffs

I dunno man. He was pretty shaky before he got hurt.

He's been hurt all season, since preseason in Phoenix. Chucky's better than Carter, I'm happy to see him play if he's 100% healthy.

Can't wait to get him back so we can go back to that 3 guard (hobbit) rotation of Frodo, Sam, Pippin...oops I meant to say Carter, AI, Atkins.... same difference? And we can defend middle earth, or errr win a nba title.....lol....f_ck short guards.

I think a lot of people on this board are forgetting about the Chucky Atkins that used to burn us whenever he played against us with the grizzlies.

I'd be way more happy about this if I knew Chucky would be taking Carter's minutes, and not JR's.

I honestly Belive JR will get his, Carter will get his, and So will chucky. Carters minutes will drop book it.!

Sorry but I can't help but laugh because this reminds me of how Boykins used to kill us when he played for GS.
