The 02-03 Mavs that had four of those five were the league's 9th best defensive team and won 60 games.

Shawn Bradley, especially, wasn't as bad as he seems. He twice led the league in block%, twice was in the top 10 in defensive rating, and remained a solid rebounder his whole career.

why hasn't Kidd been mentioned more? he was an elite defender for years to start off the decade..

Baron Davis? I guess he's a good defender, but one of the best of the generation? no..

That's a great list. I totally forgot about Eric Snow. That guy was an exceptional defender for years.
