Yeah.

With 5.30 min remaining in the 4. quarter Dirk scored 12 and Kobe 14 points. In OT Dirk scored 9 and Kobe 8.

Dirk 21 - Kobe 22!

Great game!

No, Mavs/Lakers really wasn't that good. Suns/Lakers were better. So it definitely has nothing on Suns/Hornets.

Another spectacular game for Kobe as he makes his case for the MVP stronger.

What?

Dirk is just an assassin who will just kill you with that unstoppable jumper. I see a 7 foot Kobe out there.

What's wrong with what he said? Dirk is as close to a 7 foot Kobe as you can get

lakers-suns had so much more of a storyline than mavs-lakers...but if i had to choose lakers- suns would be on top then suns-hornets, this game wasn't too good, people are just getting carried away...but if you guys wanna see a real game download that epic suns-nets classic from last season where nash exploded for 42 in a 161-157 win...super game!!!
suns always are in a game of the year!!!

What else can he kill you with? Besides the jumber Kobe can get you with penetration, makeing play's for teamates, playing lock down defence, etc. etc. Dirk has his jumper and that's about it, whereas Kobe can get you many different way's and that's what makes him great, not just his jumper!

Spurs/Mavs
Mavs/Lakers
Hornets/Suns
Pistons/Celtics
Cavs/Lakers
Mavs/Celtics
Lakers/Suns

Can't really say Lakers/Suns, overall, because I didn't feel the game was in much doubt, edit: or would of been had I not already known the result before watching it :). Even so, I felt the Lakers just had (and do) that edge over the Suns, later in the game. Which around the 5, 6 minute mark of the 4th qtr, is how it went, the Lakers all had it going on both ends of the court. They just didn't look like they'd lose that game. I also expected the Lakers to win before-hand.

It was still a really fun game to watch, though, and one of the most significant games of the year.

For me it can be any of the first 4. I also don't think a game has to be high-scoring to be great. There's been many, many in the past, too, that aren't. As it is typically.

Are you kidding me the Hornets- Suns game was easily game of the year. That last second buzzer beater fade away by Peja was incredible.

Anyone who voted yes is either:

a) A dumbass
b) Didn't see the Hornets/Suns game
c) both

Seriously, this game was no where near as exciting as the Hornets/Suns. Not even close.

Lakers homers

thats right. this guy is a spurs fan, so obviously the hate for the suns has been there for years now.

now the hornets are a great team as well and a new rival.

that game was ridiculous. the small ball lineup directly lead pargo to put up his itty bitty arms to try and "contest" leondro's crazy three to tie the game.

nash always finds a way to be open to tie the game. i think pargo was made into dust after a hard screen hence nash was wide open.

suns need to thank bryon for his great coaching there. :noway:

ridiculous game. off the charts. and the reaction - they could have broken peja's fragile back with how they jumped him.

amare really couldn't do anything. no one could. that shot was so lucky by peja. and shaq had to watch it as well! lol.

the laker game was a whine fest on both sides. it was slow at times near the end with all the foul shots. it wasn't really exciting. neither team played that well.

i'm sad the suns hornets game didn't go into triple overtime. someone might have collapsed.

a hornets suns series would be the best. free flowing. even though the hornets can slow a game down, they can't slow the suns down at all. and all the alley-opps between nash and amare, chris and tyson would make for an epic series.

The performance by Paul just as or even more impressive than Kobe's 52 point in OT win.

ESPN made the Hornets/Suns game an "Instant Classic" and was showing it on ESPN Classic the next day IIRC.

it wasn't paul. it was both teams. both teams played out of their minds. and every few minutes you'd jump out of your seat wondering how did one team do that or how is the other team going to recover?

i didn't notice paul scoring that much - all i kept noticing was the ridiculous ways each team would one up the other within seconds.

the suns had a little pep in their step waiting for shaq to arrive, he was in the building watching - and the hornets put up a great fight.
