Why not take out Jamal instead of Nate then? The whole point to the rest of the season is for us getting the chance to see what our youthier players can do.

Cmon now, let's not give Isiah too much credit here. We all know he's an incompetent coach who substitutes randomly.

Isiah is trying to save his job and squeeze out as many wins as he can - its just pretty funny how he's failing miserably at it. He has too big of an ego to purposely lose games and take so much heat from the nyc media. If he was tanking why would he be pushing Crawford so much at 41 mpg? Why wouldnt he play the youngens more?

Ironically, I think we might actually win a few more games if we went into a real tank mode and sit veterans like Curry and Richardson...

i think isiah has told the players that he's pretty much tanking at this point and he just wants to see what he has in everyone for next season. he's probably told all of them to be patient and ready because everybody will get to show what they've got. he'll probably start playing balkman in a few games. plus, we already know that balkman can ball. he doesn't really need to show too much.

I thought it was the fact that he took an ill advised 17 foot jumper without moving the ball around, then got a rebound on the other end brought the ball down the floor and instead of hitting Crawford on the curls (which was the play Thomas ran) he waited and ran the ball to the hoop for a heavily contested missed layup and then didnt get back on defense which allowed the smart Chris Paul to get a easy layup. We are most successful when we move the ball around (as most teams are) and when our point guard doesnt pass the ball or play defense he deserves to be taken out of the game. Chandler was playing hard on both ends and wont go away from the game plan so it was actually a smart substitution.

You guys really need to read up on the game because if seems like many of you have no clue how to play basketball and you should not spend all of your time on a basketball forum posting when you dont know how to play.

nate had crawford the first time around but didnt pass the ball.... then JC runs around 2 other sreens without receiving the ball....

Once again read up on the effin game. Players cant play all 48 minutes you have to give them a rest, giving Crawford with a minute left in the 3rd quarter and then subbing out Mardy Collins at the 9:30 mark is actually smart, subbing a player out with a minute left before teh quarter ends will give them a long break instead of sitting Crawford to start the fourth quarter. Its pure logic hes getting the same time off when you figure that there is around a 3-5 minute break between quarters that gave him a pretty long time to rest without really missing any actualy game time. Chandler was playing smart basketball on both ends of the court and wasnt forcing the issue like Nate Robinson was.

Do you guys know how the game works? You guys like to just find something to bash Thomas for even though he was actually making the right decisions with the team.

Crawfords missed 3 with 4 seconds on the shot clock was due to Nate taking to long to figure out that he wasnt going to be able to get a shot off. The rest is self explanitory. Thomas had every right to take him out Nate took us out of the game with his dumb basketball.
