everyone said the magic would suck....and they do...but not as much as people said they would, so thats surprising
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

I'm going to feel stupid for saying this, but I actually thought the Knicks had a shot at making the playoffs. Before the season I looked at them on paper, and I was thinking that despite their individual struggles, they could surely make the playoffs...right?

Curry/Lee
Randolph/Jeffries
Q Rich/Balkman
Crawford/Fred Jones
Marbury/Nate Robinson

Boy, was I wrong.

with how weak the east is, any team could make the playoffs behind the two elite ones.

they can make it next year if they try to play like a team. i doubt the east will get better any time soon. if the sixers can make it, anyone can.

being under .500 and still making the playoffs? amazing.

those teams will get crushed by the celtics and pistons in 4 quick games, but it'll be entertaining nonetheless.
