Imagine if we had gundy as one of our coach. It would somewhat help some of our problems.

I think Van Gundy would help us a ton...He sure as hell isnt afraid to get on allstars for underachieving... Those defensive schemes he has their are pretty genious too. I liked the one stopping Nash and Amare's pick n roll my coach used the same tactic in high school and it pretty much forces them to into an extremely hard layup against the center (most likely ending in a block) or a kick out and restarting the offense and losing time..
I have noticed though however the Nuggets dont use any of these tactics... So really theres no doubt who we need to coach our team, right now. (Van Gundy)

yea, thats interesting stuff. maybe someone should email this to george? i at first was totally opposed to JVG coaching here, but watching this team give up so many points and watching every scrub get their career game on us is getting old.
you cant add one player and expect the team to become much better defensively (unless its KG) but adding a defensive coach might be the best thing that ever happened to the run and gun but cant hit open jumper nuggets.

nuggets do use that same tactic on nash. its basically switching.
the problem is that they use it on every single pick and roll they encounter, and camby/kmart stand no chance against kobe/tmac/roy whereas they might be able to hold their own against the 32 year old nash.
plus everyone else ball watches instead of guarding the 3 point line.
