Wow... so many young guys....... I may be the oldest one here. I'm 45...

Not by a long shot. From reading his posts over the years, I think that distinction goes to "Old Rem." I am proud to say that I'm 53 years old, but Rem is probably a little older and wiser than I

Bay Area resident my entire life except for College. Went to Arizona simply because they produce the best point guards in the NBA. Never met Salim Stoudamire ever, mom came to visit me once all broken (she had a cast from a car accident) and he helped my mom carry her bags to a taxi. She didnt even know who he was.

Worked for a company right out of college that relocated offices to the East Coast (of the 40 people there i was the only one that didnt move...i cant leave the Warriors). Currently do general accounting in Oakland, near all the new Condos near Jack London.

Been a fan since we traded Mitch for Billy BLOWens.
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010

Haha me too. That and the release of Tecmo NBA Basketball that same season were probably two of the biggest factors in my becoming a Warriors fan. I'm 28 and live in Portland, OR working in the wireless industry. Been reading (lurking) this forum for probably 6 or 7 seasons. Love the insight from other true fans. I'd have to say between growing up in Wyoming/South Dakota and living here I've never met another real W's fan face to face but thanks to you guys I've been able to keep the faith even thru the lean years. I go to a decent amount of Blazer games up here and like Kevin Prichard and the team they've built, but I'm a Warriors fan thru and thru and more then hold my own in the near daily hoops debates with all the Blazers bandwagoners that have sprouted up here in the last two years. (I know the blazers have great fans, but say bandwagoners because three-four years ago i could buy lower level tickets to nearly empty blazer games from scalpers for $10-15.) Anyways nice to meet ya'll and keep up the good work.

Oh and as always GO WARRIORS!!!!

p.s. I wish Hyphy were still around....

I just played hoops again at the Y today. And I played yesterday. And I have a game at Apple Computer at 5:30 (I used to work there).

I really really don't know how I'm going to move. If I make it through the day I'm just going to be in bed all day tomorrow.

I used to follow baseball very heavily and was connected to an organization.

Now all I can think about is the damn Warriors when I should be concentrating on things at work that affect many, many others.

I'm used to being the man at the top, but soon i'll be passed over for some Johnny or Jenny come lately. hopefully they'll find out how tough of a job this really is and that everything isn't as it seems.

My hope is that my successor doesn't have to face the same kind of obstacles I have in the last 7 or so years. It's been tough and I've really had everyone's interests at heart even though alot of people have differed with my tactics.

Well, thank the Lord for those Warriors, they've got me through some very tough trials and tribulations, even when we still had dumbLeavy.

I'n thankful to be leaving my current situation and can't wait to start my new career as a REALGM MOD.

Oh my goodness... I didn't know the President Bush and Mylie are one and the same. I hope you weren't offended that I didn't vote for you... twice

PS How come you didn't use some of your pull to get Gasol on the Warriors and can you try and do something about the ref's calls.

one summer day back when i was in junior high i got up at noon or so and went to the park and played until it got dark. weighed myself before leaving and when i came back. i gained weight playing ball. damn bass ackwards metabolism :banghead:

nuwarriors, as a cal alum i have to ask you to not mention that name again. being a warrior fan prepared me for 1-10 and that guy as coach. didn't prepare me for the traditional cal sports experience, which is sort of like being moses or just a caveman at a stripclub for the first time. you can see the promised land but you're not allowed to go. you can look but you can't touch. the warriors were kind enough to flat out suck for a decade and not bother teasing anyone.

i'm in my mid 20s. don't play ball much anymore unfortunately. nba player comparison...umm... no good ones really. anyone remember najera when he was on the warriors? decided he was dirk and started jacking up 3s when he should've just been a hustle guy, garbage points, setting screens, hitting occasional open jumpers?

hmm, yahoo fantasy sports.... would you settle for a business analyst type who has several years of programming experience but doesn't want to be a programmer? :P

It turned out to be a 2 pound weight loss day over day, though. 179.5 this morning.

But I know I'm going to eat like a horse all day.

gs7101, I'm now officially to the point where I can't play twice in one day. I did anyway yesterday, but I was so immobile in the evening game that it was embarrassing. Plus I couldn't get my left achilles to loosen up, so I'm in danger of nuking it if I try to do that again.

Very nice Rainbow, you get the gold star!

It took a while but me and my cabinet members were laughing about that Gasol trade and how Jerry West allowed the reverse rape.

I'm headin to my ranch and gonna do some huntin with the Veep. I'll be wearing full body armor.
