Yao Ming, and not really close IMO. Gasol's great, but Yao's on another level.

you aren't going to get a reaction from lakers fans when the comparison is awful :lol: might as well create a tmac vs kobe thread if you are going to continue the horrible streak.

Gasol isn't even great. He's a good player. Marginal all-star who'll give you 20/9/4 most nights.

You can't compare him to Yao.

One thing ppl seem to forget when talkin about gasol

he was legit back in the day when his memphis team was winning 50games and getting routed in the first round numerous times...

no, he wasn't. He was always soft and weak on D. He also had Shane Battier then, who of course as we all know is a true leader and winner. That is why they had 50 wins.

Yao is cool.. I have been following Gasol for years, but I can tell you with certainty that Yao changes the complexity of the game... Gasol just makes a tough defensive assignment.

people really are underrating gasol...he is a nice defense player which can work the post and play the complementary player role to perfection...especially becau
