at least he's honest
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Larry Hughes can play for whatever **** reason he wants. I do my job purely for the cash, not to further the company that I work for. I'm sure that 99% of the people posting in this thread are exactly the same. However, if an athlete comes out and says he's doing his job for any other reason than the attainment of championships/honours then he is pilloried.

However, I do think he's dumb for saying that. If I'm a GM I don't want to give a contract to guy with that perspective towards basketball, and as a fan you don't want him on your team.
This post basically sums up my thoughts on Larry Hughes and his comments..
It's nice that the guy wants to have fun at what he's doing, but in the NBA, in a team oriented setting, sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the better of your team.. If Hughes cares more about having fun and putting up stats than winning, then he should've become a baseball player.. That way, he could have the best of both worlds..
Hughes really, is no different from Stephon Marbury and Zach Randolph, other than the fact that he made these comments public..
