You gotta be nuts if you think we're gonna bench Kristic now. After all that the Nets have done to bring him along and the amount of time spent in rehabbing, they're not gonna all of a sudden just bench him. He should continue to start simply because he is our most important big. He is the only big that we have that can score in the post. I understand he's not playing well now but the point is to get him back to the way he was before the injury. We're not thinking about just this season...its about the next couple of seasons. Its about finding out what we can reasonably offer Kristic.

Regarding Stro....I'm not a Stro fan at all but I'm ok with him getting minutes over SWAT. I've said it before that the only way Stro plays is if SWAT regresses. SWAT hasn't exactly regressed but he isn't playing well. Hopefully Stro gives us some good minutes and I agree w/ Jeff that he might end up being worth more to us next year.

I'm all for keeping Diop. That should hopefully be a priority in the off-season. I like the way he plays and he's such a defense presence for us. Give him some more time to get used to our system and I think he'll open up some eyes.

There's no point in putting krstic in there if you're not gonna use him. Frank runs maybe one play for him the entire game. There is no rehabbing going on so either use him or bench him.

Boone is not our best offensive big. His points come from being set up or from cleaning up which are things Diop can do . It's not like we go to Boone for offense. We'd basically be putting in Diop for his defense (which is superior) during which time he might get a few random buckets. If you want offense, start stro with Diop and run a few plays for him a quarter. This is assuming that Frank will not use Nenad.

Yeah, i'd even be open to starting Stro with Diop. Stro can score a little and Diop can block shots, rebound and step out and hit the short jumper. Plus, Stro can run the floor with Devin and RJ. Right now, Krstic is not a)being used in the post and b)is virtually useless. The days of the Nets playing 4 on 5 have to come to an end.

I agree that Diop's defense is superior to Boone's... and also Diop has shown he has a little bit of a jumpshot...

Don't forget about contract situtations... I think Diop may be expiring after the season, so that may limit his opportunity.

EFF, i totally agree with the depth chart you suggested, I think starting Swift and Diop with Sean Williams getting more minutes and Krstic' role greatly reduced would be best for the team.
