SVG's policy of playing injured players bothers me a lot. I wish Otis would reinstitute last year's policy of he determines which players are physically fit to play. Yes, this was an important game, so I could see having Jameer and Keith active in case the other guys couldn't handle things. Jameer played very well, so I guess he was fit, but Keith should have been out of the rotation for emergency use only. So much of end of the season and post season success depends on who loses important players to serious injuries.

Ok so that was a tough game to watch in the first half. It was poorly played. Dwight got frustrated that his teamates kept chucking bad shots and picked up a couple of useless fouls which took him out the game. Hedo and Lewis were able to keep the Magic slightly ahead, enough for Dwight to come in the 4th and dominate. And man did he play with so fire in the 4th. What 16 points in the quarter? Impressive, and he made the last 7 shots he attempted. The Magic really did a poor job of finding Dwight until the 4th. Its good to get the win and win the season series.

Im surprised JJ didnt play. Evans was awful and Bogans was limping around in pain.

Gortat has gotten ahead of Auggie in the depth chart so he must be doing something right in practice. He is bigger, more athletic than Auggie. I would like to give him more than 33 seconds to see what he can do. His rebounds per minute numbers are in another dimension lol.

How about that emphatic dunk by Foyle? He brought his jumping shoes last night.

Jameer ohhh where has your shot gone? Where has it gone? He did a nice job of driving but man did he take some stupid jumpers. Arroyo did some stupid things as well, no surprise there.

Hedo you are my hero.

Dwight 19 points 14 rebounds, 17 points in the 4th.

Hedo 24 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists.

I guess Povtak said that with the impression that Bogans would be sitting. Of course, in hindsight, he might as well have...

It may have been one of those blessings in disguise that Howard was in foul trouble and only had 3 pts heading into the 4th. In the past he would have tried to really force things or mentally he would have taken himself out. Last night he started the 4th with tremendous intensity and ferocity and delivered the knockout punch. The kid's maturation process continues.

Nice win, too bad 850,000 Britehouse subscribers were not able to see it.

??

The arena was about half full. I had 3 extra complementary tickets that I couldn't give away because the people who were trying to sell tickets were having to practically give away lower bowl tickets, so it sure didn't cost much to go. I have Brighthouse, but I saw the game.
