The Miami Heat is in discussions to play exhibition games in Europe this fall.
The Heat is aware of the potential scheduling, but declined to comment and referred questions to the league office.
NBA spokesman Tim Frank said Tuesday night that the league could not confirm that the Heat would play exhibition games in Europe. Team schedules are expected to be finalized this summer, and Frank said the NBA will be continuing one of its international efforts through the Europe Live tour.
According to a report by The Associated Press, the Heat will play exhibition games against the New Jersey Nets in London and Paris. The games would be held Oct. 9 and Oct. 12, the report said, which could result in the teams opening training camp a few days early.
I smell a EuroRoadTrip! Paris is only about 4 hrs from Amsterdam by train too!
