Is it time to Drop Jermaine O'Neal?

Post#1 » by risktaker91 » Tue Mar 4, 2008 12:10 am

Playoffs start in 2 weeks. I'm 3rd in my league right now, half a game behind second place. I've kept JO since the beginning, but now I'm doubting he'll make it back in time. Only reason I'm keeping him is that the Pacers could make the playoffs and so JO might be optimistic to come back.

I had the same problem but ended up dropping JO for Brand. Even if Brand wasn't available I was seriously considering dropping him for some immediate help. As of now, I doubt he will be healthy for the fantasy playoffs, besides it'll probably take him a good week of practice along with another week to find his groove out on the court.

I'm holding onto him.

I could definitely use his 2-3 blocks in the playoffs, I'm locked into 2nd seed at least, with possible first. So I'm just building for the playoffs.

LOL.. You still have him?? He's been available on our waivers and I'm contemplating picking him up. But I don't know when he's supposed to return
