Who do I want to post? I would definately let VC work the post a couple early positions every game to see how it goes. And even our unhealthy Kristic.

BUT we don't need a fancy postup player to finish around the basket. A healthy Kristic > 20ft jumpshooting Kristic would be nice though. You put a ANYONE capable of making a strong/quick move in the post. Swfit, Swat, RJ, VC. AND you put them in the post cutting towards the basket playing OFF our players that demand double-triple teams (Vince and the likes).

He did write in a blog that (saw on netsdaily) he can't practice for a long period of time before his knee forces him to shuts him down. So it's been hard for him to get into the rhythm he needs.

I'm thinking right now he can only play him one stretch of the game. If he sits down the knee seizes up or cramps up or something like that. I say keep him on the floor until he looks finished. And maybe try one more time. But if he looks spent, pull him out quick and call it a night for him.

Most of Carter's touches should be in the post and work from there, i have been saying that for months.

For some reason most of his post plays end up in fade-away jumpers ...

Better 5-10ft in then 10ft out. I've also seen a variety of those fades mixed with hooks, and dunks with VC in the post. He was a beast when he first came to this team, without Frank's crap playbook.

So far I've read about 14 different reasons why we lost this game. Guess I should add my 2 cents. TURNOVERS, POOR SHOOTING and LACK OF FREE THROW ATTEMPTS. The number of turnovers we had isn't what I'm getting at but its the fact that most of them came from Harris and RJ. I'm not gonna blast Harris cause he's new to the system but RJ needs to stop w/ the turnovers. Every game he leads this team in turnovers...its incredible. Our poor shooting is a combination of a terrible offensive system and just bad shooters. Harris and RJ combined for 9-29...thats terrible from your 2nd and 3rd best players. Frank needs to do a better job of getting either Harris or Carter into the heart of the defense. Isn't that one of Harris's biggest strengths?? Breaking the defender down and getting into that middle?? If we can't post up then we need drives to the hoop. We may not have gotten easy shots cause the Spurs were packing the lane but we could have gotten some free throws at least.

We played one of the best teams in the league and one of the best defensive teams in the league. Add to that, we are a poor offensive team. Thats a tough combo for us. On the bright side, I thought we played well defensively. Hopefully we turn it around in Memphis.
