Let's see.

Shaq
Haslem
Melo
JWill
Payton

I say yes. Riley would make Melo a better player. Melo has been coached by Bzedlik (sp) and offensive guru Karl. Don't forget the Riley factor guys.

Go take a look at the stats Wade put up in the Conference Finals and the Finals that year and you'll realize that Riley improving Melo that much is preposterous.

Honestly even if you replaced him with Kobe (of 2006) I would have predicted no championship. Historic performance are historic for a reason,,,,,,,they don't happen too often and Miami needed every bit of that performance from Wade to win.

I don't even think Miami was the best team that year. But with the way Wade played they may have been....even though it was short lived it was at the perfect moment -- during the playoffs.

Come to think of it though, Pat Riley has some strict body fat % rules, Carmelo might be a beast if he played for Riley.

and he might learn some toughness and not need to sucker punch people and then run away from someone a foot shorter than him.

4-0 Mavs. And it won't be because of the "whistles".

I am really looking forward to see Wade come back fully healthy and silence the silly comments made about his hoops ability. Healthy Wade is a top 5 player in this league.

Its hard for people to just come back at full health.

Just ask Penny Hardaway (D-Wade and Penny are freakishly similar)

Kobe
Lebron
Paul
Garnett
Duncan
Howard

Wade is not a top 5 player when healthy.

If Wade was healthy, he'd be leading the league in PER along with Lebron. I'd take a healthy Wade over KG and Paul. Also, last year, there was a very good argument for taking Wade over Kobe...

LMAO! c'mon What wade did in the Finals was phenomenal. He was on the inferior team and won. Even the series against the Pistons was memorable but people forget about that. Carmelo couldn't even beat the Clippers.

Funny how the players can move on but fans like you continue being ignorant. Quite funny actually.

But no, no championship. What Wade did was something we call a historic performance.

Finals would be Pistons-Mavs
Maybe Miami loses to the Bulls, but no way we lose to the Nets!
