Nothing new. RealGM always does a bad job with quotes. The full quote shows McGrady was halfway joking and halfway hoping Dirk gets suspended for our game tomorrow against Dallas.

"Yeah, I will (be broken-hearted)," McGrady said with a broad smile. "I will. I want them to be at full strength.
"You see the smile, right?"
Christ, guys, Mac was joking--Rockets play the Mavs next--and made it a point to make it blindingly obvious.
Why not read the article and respond to that instead of just blasting players you don't like based on a biased headline?
Because that would be bizzaro world. This is RealGM world.

Not even halfway joking, I don't think! Sounded pretty obvious that he was just joking around, in good spirits (perhaps due to our 15-game win streak?), and was having a good time.

Im glad he spoke up it may not be his call but i think the players need to say something when a player could ahve been seriously injured i mean the players in the nba have to worry about injury everygame but the shouldnt have to worry about a player on the other team intentionally injuring them if thats actually what happened and t mac has balls for saying what he thought knowing he would be criticized and have to play dirk and the mavs

Guys, if you're going to start threads, let's try to be a little less antagonizing and aggressive. This sort of thread just breeds bad responses. Plus, Arenas and McGrady are being discussed in this thread, so if you need to, continue your discussion there. Thanks.
