It's always sad to see a player go down for the season, but Pollard didn't play too much, so it doesn't hurt too much. But he played pretty well for his limited minutes.

We probably don`t get injury player exception at this point of the season, right?

Dale Davis could be a nice addition...

Was he signed for one or two seasons?

Doesn't really matter. He was really just insurance at this point and was going to be with Scal and Pruitt on the inactive list anyways, not like he gave the team anything but a quality presence in the lockerroom anyways.

Once Miami went down and then Shaq was traded, Scot Pollard had no reason to be on this team. He was a big body brought here to play a few minutes against Shaq in the playoffs, pure and simple.

Enjoy the sweet life, Scot!

See my interpretation was more like, once Pollard started getting injured and sucking he had not reason to be on this team.

One year deal.

With Brown on the team, shouldn't be much of a loss. If success or failure in the playoffs depends on Pollard's health we have bigger problems.

If I'd heard a peep that his goofy personality extended to lack of conditioning effort, I might be annoyed.

As matters stand, however, good luck to an obviously nice guy, and condolences to Wyc et al. on the salary plus lux tax.
