I don't blame anyone for J-Rich going off - he can do that sometimes, and there isn't much that can stop him when he does.

Cro: stunk
POB: stunk
I'll give Beli and CJ passes since they only played 30 seconds and didn't touch the ball.

On the other side, J-Rich and the great Felton tore us up.

Where's the trade deadline when you need it?

 WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! Bwright was a beast tonight. He altered shots, moved well on the court, a few blocks....i thought we had chris bosh #2 on the court today! Really!!

haha. I'm just kidding. Wright did play well and hes head over heels better than obryant who cant seem to know where to go...but i give him a break since he hasnt played this year.

i really cant stand "fans" that find joy out of the failure of a warrior player for the sheer fact of being "right" (which i'm using very loosely) for one night. The team lost, yet you find it necessary to seek pleasure out of the failure of warriors player? what a tool.

Funny to see Cwebb still on your avatar after his suckfest which is the 08 season.

POB although he did have 2 turnovers, had two blocks and hit his only shot in just 6 minutes. I have to give the old man some credit for at least giving him a chance and played him for a change. Too bad he didn't do a little better got to than what he did. Pretty surprised he play (and got some reasonable minutes). Probably won't see him again.

Andris please hurry up back. Letting Jared Dudley beat us to every lose ball and rebound was sickening.

He has no idea what he is doing on the court. He has good measurables, which does help him get blocked shots, and he has a good hook, but he looks lost on the court. This might be what Nellie sees everyday in practice and might be a reason he is not played much. I just don't think he understands the game of basketball very well. Wright, on the other hand, does understand where to be on the court almost all the time, even though he gets pushed around because of lack of size. I can see why Nellie likes Wright more POB even if their athleticism and measurables are pretty similar.

The coach has just as much responsibility to the player... POB not knowing where to go is a failure on both parties.

True, but I put more of an onus on the player. If you do not know where to go after practicing with the same team for almost two years, then something must be wrong. i call it the Ike Diogu Syndrome.

Can't imagine Patrick's absorbing much information as the 6th man/traffic cone :D

The issue that with a little work and patience, this kid could still be good. He has a lot of tools... its a crime we dont get to even try to reap the benefits when they could be so damn numerous :banghead:

Its a different scenario than Ike IMO... Ike came from a better school and got more exposure, but has none of the natural tools POB does. POB's actual ball instincts are better... even though they are terrible in our extreme help D.

There's no doubt in my mind after the replays that a little conditioning (in the zone, not physical conditioning) and POB could give us 10 mpg... he's so long and he can get in the air pretty quick too.. :sigh:

I still hold out hope that Nellie bows out and POB gives Smart a chance... and vice versa

POB looked decently athletic and instinctive, but just as paranoid and rusty as any normal person in such circumstances. What can be expected?

Practice? WTF.....O'Bryant,Belinnelli,Wright haven't had a decent practice all year? Not buying into that excuse. Is Webber looking like Dwight Howard in practice? Hell...he doesn't even look like the has been he had been just last year.

Yeah....a young prospect not permitted to really play basketball for a year and a half can look a bit out of synch in the strange environment of a few REAL minutes. Make a note...we'll have another rookie next year in the same sad story.

Just the same....I guess it is progress. POB and B Wright both got non-garbage minutes in the same game. How rare is that?

Okay.....with the Bob's late #1 pick and J rich basically thrashing us.....I guess we needed more to just seem to break even......well....a lot more.
CENSORED... No comment.

No one (at least not me) is trying to say that POB is as talented as someone like Wright (there's no doubt) who is in the same category as Beans and Monta (future star potential) but that he at least has the potential to be a serviceable backup center (which we could use by the way). For some rstragne eason there are people around here who are seem to like to deal in extremes (he's gonna be a star or he sucks) and no in between. There's a lot of decent centers in the league who are not stars. It's either people want to say that "POB" sucks or POB is going to be a star. Just because POB does not have the potential and the talent of a BWright does not mean that POB is not capable of helping this club. He is, especially with our deficiency in big men and the difficulty we have under the basket. No doubt more playing time (which he probably won't get) and some good coaching (which he probably doesn't get either) would cure him of some of his ills. I am happy that Nellie gave him some decent minutes this last game. I wonder why such a sudden change of heart?
