And here we thought the Falcons had it rough, trying to hire a general manager and a coach at the same time. The Atlanta Spirit - not exactly the model of organizational efficiency - might be in the market for two of each.

We have 23 games left I believe; what will our record be at the end?
I don't see us going better than 11-12 or 10-13. 12 home games in that grouping and 11 on the road. It doesn't look promising. 3 more with Orlando......don't print playoff tickets just yet!

We just aren't improving when we need to. We truly need to avoid the 7th or 8th playoff spots to be considered successful this year. Does that even get us a winning record? We are 11 games under .500. We have to go 18-5 to go 42-40. Hmm.....

This is starting to feel like last year, the ship is slowly sinking. Fortunately, the teams around us are awful and we still don't have to play great ball to catch up.
