Will Lebron ever have a better statistical season?

Post#1 » by Marcolopolis5 » Thu Mar 6, 2008 4:00 am

...than the one he is having now?

I mean I am sure he will improve his jumpshot, including his three-point shot sometime or another, but right now he is in his athletic prime, which he relies on to score most of his points (in most games) and athleticism starts to slowly drop around 25.

So what do you think?

I believe so. And your athleticism stays until the end of 27 years old I always presumed, depending on how well in shape you keep yourself.

Well unless he gets a team like Kobe has where he doesn't have to do so much its very possible.

I don't know how many more seasons of 30 PERs he can have. He might not finish this season above 30. But I think he has a few more seasons of 28-30 PERs in him. He needs to improve his jumper, though, that's for sure.

Well some people were saying he wouldn't have a better statistical season than in 06 when he put up 31, 7, 6. In conclusion don't bet against lebron.

...also tell jamario moon your athleticism goes down at 25.

Well im sure he was slightly more athletic at 25 than he is now, though it is hard to tell.

Of course he'll continue to get better statistically. Lebron has shown vast improvement throughout his career (even though he was great to begin with) and I fully expect him to continue to improve his statistics. Lebron's sky continues to be the limit and the only thing scarier than Lebron right now is Lebron in his prime. :banghead:

He probably will, I find it hard to believe that Lebron's free throw percentage could get worse instead of better... I also think that if Lebron starts putting in the work and gets a good shooting coach he could develop a solid three-point shot.

Not necessarily, you never know what injuries could do to young, athletic players. Case in point:

I wouldn't compare LeBron's athleticism with other guys. He's totally out of this world. I'm not even talking about the jumping ability, his quickness and pace is just freakish for a guy who is 6-9 and 260(as he yesterday told).
