Records
76ers: 28-33 (Won 2 Straight)
Sonics: 16-45 (Lost 2 Straight)

Previous Meetings
Dec. 31st @ SEA: 76ers 98, Sonics 90

Probable Starters

*** The starting center for the Sonics is Johan Petro. If you recognized him by his photo, you're better than me and get 4 and 1/2 gold stars.

The Sixers are well rested, playing solid basketball and have their eyes on the prize. I think this team does a great job of getting up for games against bad teams hence...

My Prediction: Sixers by 10+

By the way, I will not be around this weekend so someone else will have to pick up the slack and make a game thread for Sunday's 1PM game @ MIL.

Can't you just make it in advance? No reason, except that, its pretty much become a tradition that you do it. Maybe thats why the playoffs are in our grasp...Don't wanna be jinxing that do we?

Sorry, if I;m coming off as demanding, I just think you;'ve done a fantastic job with the threads...

Willie has been playing well, but how long do you think Mo will go with the line up with green out there? cuz the sonics got some serious length with durant playing the 2. And I don't like thad possibly guarding wilcox. Start reggie and movie igg to the two and have thad on Jeff Green. That's what I want to see.

Hey man... I appreciate the kudos. I could make it on Friday Night but I'll let you guys determine if that's what you want.

I would love to see that.... A sneak peek at our future.... This would be the perfect matchup to try it, too. Iggy's been shooting really well from outside, too. Get it done, Mo.

As for the game thread, I vote for an early GP creation. You do such a good job with those, man. Props. And let's keep this mojo rolling.

I agree, do er up TGP...IF anyone else does decide to make a game thread will probably suck, no pictures, no time, nothing...You're doing a great job, especially since we are seeing "NBA Playoffs" and not "The Rose Bowl".

i'm for tgp doing it if he doesn't mind.

we are going to beast on the sonics. 15+ sixers. i'm not to concerned about the sonics' length. length is pointless if you suck. (being overly bold and confident in a sixers win is so weird and unnatural)
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I'd say give TGP a break from doing it, but since I am not available to do it in his place, that would be really ballsy of me.

Either way, much thanks for doing these man

After looking at the schedules of the remaining teams in the playoff race and considering how well we're playing of late, it seems we're pretty much a lock for the playoffs meaning we really don't have much of a chance to get a good pick. Consider me on the playoff bandwagon. It'll be fun to able to root for the Sixers to win again.

Go Sixers!

As for the game, I expect nothing less than a 15+ point win.

I'd step in as acting CEO of game threads, but that would only display how unworthy I am.... I can't fill TGP's shoes in that regard..... anyway, I'll be in New Orleans this weekend 8)

Sixers by 30.

I thought the Sixers would beat the Clippers by 25, but I went with a safe number. Not this time.

If the Sixers don't underrate the Sonics, they will be fine. Otherwise the night could become unconvenient.

Watch Sammy getting outplayed by Petro. :D

Sorry, Bandwagon's full. I took the last seat a week ago...

Seriously, welcome aboard- about time you stopped moping in the corner and started drinking the Kool-Aid with the rest of us. We can't have people being all reasonable and bringing us down. We might as well just enjoy the next month and then start focusing on hyping up our off-season moves.

I may even ditch my Fool'sGold avatar in favor of an NBA Finals logo...
