OT: Grant Hill Same Sh*t Different Year?

Post#1 » by MagicalMan » Thu Mar 6, 2008 3:52 pm

from wiretap:
"I really have no desire to uproot and go anywhere else," Hill said. "Aside from the appendectomy, this has been everything I dreamed about. This is it. This is the last stop for me."

"I'm having so much fun, and hopefully they want me back," Hill said. "The plan is to be here."

Magical, let's just move on from this trainwreck shall we? We lose him, but have our best team in 12 years. I'm cool with that, dropping "The Gimp" was the key to whole thing.

Ditto, I just think its comical that he pretty much repeats verbatim, what he said last year around this time.

We can thank Grant Hill for leaving...it allowed Hedo to become a fringe All-Star player.

Magic shooting guard Grant Hill told the Sentinel after Wednesday
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Who cares? Our team has almost the same record as them and they seem to be stinkin it up right now, and we have a 3 game winning streak with our next 5 games very winnable.

Yeah, I've still got some lingering anger, but I'm over it. DoY hit it on the head. Hill leaving has allowed Hedo to prosper and, ultimately, improve our team as a whole. Meanwhile, Phoenix will barely make the playoffs and get routed by the Spurs or L.A. in the first round, so good riddance.

Wow, he really seems like a bad luck charm, doesn't he? I think he'll end up in Boston next year. Who knows, maybe Gary Payton and Karl Malone come out of retirement and join the Celtics too.

it would be hard not to have that rehearsed...with so many injuries and so many expectations...

still, it is rather amusing. but i still wish him the best. even though he milked us, it was hard not to like the guy.

You don't think the Cleveland game is winnable?

No; haven't you heard? Everyone considers the Lebron Cavaliers > Magic
