On a semi OT note...Here we had the two best defensive teams squaring off..and in Denver, two teams who don't attempt to play a lick of defense trying to prove who does it worse....Run up and jack up the shot seems to be the notto.

Sam Cassell will make this team so much better! Eddie and Tony at PG just won`t work, Sam will lift this team to a new level.

And pistons will have troubles in the postseason with such inexperienced bench. Johnson shouldn`t get minutes in the playoffs he is nowhere near ready...Stuckey, Aflalo I doubt we will see much of them in close games. Ratliff and Hunter will get their minutes...

March 5th came and they beat the Pistons
You call it a close game, we call it an ass kick
We shootin' for the stars like we shoot for the basket
That's Rajon Rondo, my girlfriends favorite
And in the 4th quarter he right there to save us

Also, Its a travashamockery that this game wasnt on national tv. Nice to get the win. But anyone who thinks this game is an indicator of future playoff success needs to chill.

LOL

Problem is that when the Pistons play a good defensive team, they get absolutely shut down because their offense is horrible.

I'm not worried about these guys at all. The Cavs are the one team I don't look forward to playing because Lebron can go off anytime and you know the refs are under orders to protect the Sacred Cow.

Billups is the key to beating the Pistons my friends---Remember last year when they lost to Cleveland?...Billups could hardly catch his breath and he looked COMPLETELY exhausted ( he even said so in the post series' interviews )....it's obvious he dropped a bunch of muscle in the off-season to try to fix this...If we keep going at him for 48 minutes--he WILL collapse like he did tonight and last season...I hope that Doc realizes this.

Plus I hope PJ gets some minutes before the road trip.

Same here. I think P.J. will play, I doubt Sam does.

If you even utter the words "Sacred Cow" 10 feet from Him, He will go to the line for 2 free throws.

Good game, too bad I'm in LA and had too miss it. But it looks like you guys were just way too physical tonight for us... Can't wait for the playoffs, hope we both get to the ECF.

I wont go as far to say that I envy the Celts yet, but I envy the energy at the Garden. I didn't watch today's game on TV but it if was anything like the first game at the Garden then it was AMAZING ATMOSPHERE.

Its sad that the true blue collar Pistons fans do not dominate the Palace crowds, but rather snooty, prudent types who are too good to get loud (and honestly some fault here goes to the lowly economy as for why the REAL fans can't go). The Palace has been sorta dead since LB left.

Yeah you could really hear it through the TV which isn't always the case. I love the "defense, duh duh, defense" chant in the first quarter. I was at the first Pistons game and I'm sure last night was the same way. It's going to be a tough place to play come playoff time. Talk about home court advantage.

I hope both of these teams do meet in the ECF. I just can't stand the Cavaliers.

Absolutely. Love the smoke staying in the air for the first few minutes of the game. Love the Chaun-cey and Wall-ace taunt chants. Feels like the '80s all over again... As we saw briefly in the 2002 run it can easily be a top playoff arena in the league.
