Sorry, Bandwagon's full. I took the last seat a week ago...

Seriously, welcome aboard- about time you stopped moping in the corner and started drinking the Kool-Aid with the rest of us. We can't have people being all reasonable and bringing us down. We might as well just enjoy the next month and then start focusing on hyping up our off-season moves.

I may even ditch my Fool'sGold avatar in favor of an NBA Finals logo...

I'm on board, just won't be drinking the kool-aid just yet, maybe a week or two before the playoffs. Right now we're still out within 5 games against Boston or Detroit, and 6 against Orlando. Ask me again a week before the playoffs and we win every series in 6. :P

I wish the game was tonite. I want to see how Thad compares to Durant. I hope Mo Starts Reggie and then benches Green so that Thad and Dala can start at SF and SG to face Durant. I think Durant wont score more then 12 points in this game with Dala and Thad on him. He is just too tall to let Green guard him. He will back him down and shoot right over him.
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.

I'm not a seasoned vet here or anything, but I've come used to Clicking on your game thread The Guilty Party. I'm sure everyone will bump it up to it's resting place.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. :)

I think people might be taking SEA a little too lightly. 30 points? I mean.... that's how NBA teams get beat on a given night. Hopefully the locker-room isn't as over-confident as some of the posters here.... Something tells me Mo's got them focused. But if not, we could be in for a Sonic surprise.

sixers win a close one by 4 point and a bunch of Iguodala and Williams free-throws to close out the game.

Unfortunately TGP youare a victim of your own success-keep on keeping on.....these threads have become the only thing i check anymore

Yeah we should be careful. We need this win badly but such games can be tough for us.
It should be very interesting to see Thad vs. Durant.
Wilcox could be a problem for us.

I hope we continue our great play.

Go Sixers

Thad needs to stay within himself tonight. Durant's game is much different than Thad at this point, and hopefully the team approach to Thad's game continues tonight. It's easy to get caught up in the hype, and try to show your worth, but I don't think he can get into a scoring contest with Durant at this point. I would be more interested to see the job he could do on Durant defensively, although he'll probably match up elsewhere.

It doesn't sound like WG's injury is anything major, but if he couldn't go, it would be interesting to see if Mo goes with a longer lineup to match up with Seattle's length. Would love to see a game with Iguodala at SG and Thad at SF, and this would be a game where those matchups might make sense based on the length Seattle puts on the floor.

Sonics fan here.

We're a bit more concerned about helping that group, led by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, that wants to re-model the KeyArena and help keep the Sonics in Seatte.
So that game might not interest us all that much, but i doubt it will be as easy for you guys, as some of you are hoping for.

Here's the Sonics game thread.

Two things...

1) I have to say that I'm pretty excited that this game thread is already on page 3 and the game is still 9 hours away. Most of the recent game threads have finished around 6 or 7 pages so is it possible that everyone is getting a little more into the Sixers' games? I think that's a good thing if true.

2) I'm a little shocked at the support for the game threads and far be it for me to jinx a good thing so I'll make the Bucks game thread before I leave tonight around 5ish.

As said before.... I'll be gone until Sunday Night so I fully expect all of you throw down a couple of tall, cool glasses of Kool-Aid and carry this team to wins over the Sonics tonight and the Bucks on Sunday. :-)

Thanks, freshie. I fully expect you to be tending bar this weekend and refilling any empty glasses of the kool-aid. Speaking of good times, where's SendEm been? Have I missed his posts? Well, I wouldn't exactly say I've been "missing" it.

Since the Sixers management, including coaches, tend to get most of the blame when the team is playing badly (losing), I feel it is time to mention that they deserve a lot of credit for the quick turnaround into at least a team we believe is improving rapidly. And, Yes ... Billy King (remember him) deserves some of that credit also.
If you cannot convince others that you are right, you probably aren't.

Hey man... I appreciate the kudos. I could make it on Friday Night but I'll let you guys determine if that's what you want.

Ive looked around on other boards and your game thread are by far the best. It is sort of becoming a tradition that you make the game threads. It would be nice if you could make the thread but if you cant no big deal.

we have not seen a bad game from Green for a while , looks like he will deliver today

the match up of Green defending Durant is one of the stupid things i saw Mo does this season

OK, please put Willie Scrub's ass on the bench. Durant's making him his personal bitch.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
