Who would you rather knock out in the playoffs?

Say the Spurs or Lakers get knocked out early and you have to play one of them in the WCF. Who would you, as Suns fans rather knock out and get most satisfaction? I'm guessing it's Spurs.

Both. Go through LA in the first round, Dallas in the 2nd round, and SA in the 3rd :-D.

Yeah but which one would give you the MOST satisfaction. I mean i guess this is a bit of a heat test, cause i know how much Suns fans hate the Spurs from last years series, but with the Gasol trade, Lakers fans have been rubbing Suns fans faces in the dirt bigtime lately so i'm not sure which team is more hated right now.

Hrm. Beating SA would be like finally beating the big brother in a pickup game, but I can't stand the Lakers....

Based off this season and this season alone, it's LA to me, just to shut them up.

Seeing the lakers in the first round says a whole lot about the shaq trade. Especially since you would have to continue dropping games to land in 7th place after being in 1st when you got him.

that's like answering what time of day do you prefer taking a crap? In the morning or after work? Each time you drop a deuce it smells and you're glad you got rid of it. Same analogy as knocking out either of these teams.

How else would you expect a Suns fan to answer this question? All 3 of these teams despise eachother. Right now the Suns are literally playing like crap so I believe the above analogy is appropriate.

Spurs. They have a history with us and a history of beating us. I want to beat them in a series really bad. Get revenge for that disgusting playoff series last year. I don't want to get into that because it just enrages me, but beating the Spurs would be awesome.

As a Laker fan I must say that after getting Pau Gasol for nothing more than some old peanuts and a half eaten candy bar. I think the Lakers are hated just a little bit more than the Spurs. I mean it not that great of a margin, its rather nano if I do say so myself. Then after you guys got Shaq, I just felt that it would only be right if we met in the Playoffs but don't think that were going to take it easy on you guys. If Bell goes down at all Kobe is gonna have a field day all series. I would say stay away from these two teams until the WCF, that if you can. I don't see the Spurs or Laker being knocked off by anybody else. I'll put it like the the only lose these teams will take will come from each other, bottom line.

Lakers
SF:Odom
PF:Gasol
C:Bynum
SG:Bryant(41-0 nothing eles need to be said)
PF:Fisher

Spurs
SF:Bowen
PF:Duncan
C:Thomas(he's gonna come back to hurt ya'll, that's a given)
SG:Ginobili
PG:Parker

Lakers have not been able to beat the Suns in a 7game series the past few years I am not sure they could start now.

Having said that, I'd like to knock off the Spurs since they've knocked us out the past few years.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

I think that it would be more satisfying to beat the spurs because we've beat the lakers the last 2 years already, but I really don't care who we beat as long as we win the championship.

Spurs have been a much classier and much better fan base than the Lakers fan base.

Yeah, I'm with ya on that.
The Spurs fanbase >>> the LA fanbase (said it in my first post)

Losing to the Spurs is like student or an apprentice who became a master because the master retired... then for ego purposes the new master challenging the old master and losing...

Losing to the Lakers is like a master having a midlife crisis, divorced by his wife, kids doing drugs, his horse and katana being stolen etc... then being challanged by another master, this master got only to master level because of his connections and basically being the title given to him because he poisoned the other much more deserving master, who was a student with him, the old master then retired and had to choice but to silver spoon feed the tricky student and hand him the title of master.... mind you this master as a student was always popular with the ladies, so now not only do you get a bunch of groupies cheering for the master but they love to rub in that fact.

Okay, obviously just watched a few movies... but ahem.

:o Wowzers, the dangers of watchin sci-fi/fantasy movies, melodrama movies, and NBA games at the same time

Well ur basically sayin that u rather lose against the Spurs again then lose against LA. I kinda agree, but question isn't "Who wud u rather get knocked out by" it's "Who wud u rather knock out"

the point is, shutting up the louder and more obnoxious fan base will bring more satisfaction than beating the champs and then losing towards the finals anyways.

"IF" we finally get over the SanAN hump and beat the best team in the NBA then I'd really like our chances of goin all the way.
Don't see how we can beat the Spurs with the team we got now, but if these guys beat the team that they matchup worse against then they become the new c-ship favorites.

I get a lot more of a kick outta watchin our opponments get beat in the game then watchin the nuthuggers of the team u beat go panic.
It's the team u beat that matters, not the fanbase of the team u beat.

At the same time I don't live in the USA, so I'm not surrounded by the tarded Kobe cult members in real life

Yet at the end of the day he still didnt have any friends , you know why , cause he never cared about anyone but himself .

Sort of like this childish post you made .

I mean , you come on here and post this BAIT on this board , and you know how to make yourself look good by posting this
Yeah but which one would give you the MOST satisfaction. I mean i guess this is a bit of a heat test, cause i know how much Suns fans hate the Spurs from last years series

and then to draw the attention away from your team and then you post this B.S to pump up your psot .....

but with the Gasol trade, Lakers fans have been rubbing Suns fans faces in the dirt bigtime lately so i'm not sure which team is more hated right now

Then here's the bait ........

You had to post this to get everone on this board fired up , funny though I do creep up on this board now and then specially after we play the Suns and I have yet to see a REAL LAKER fan on here rubbing Suns fans faces in the dirt or in anything else .
You know why I havent seen it ?
Because the minute someone posts anything negative on this board , they get a warning or they get banned .

Now if your talking about the Laker board , its the same thing there .
Our mods are some of the best mods on this board , they dont put up with anyone even your Laker Trolls that bounce from board to board .

As far as your post , let's say the regualr season ended today .
Just to prove your thread has point other than baiting Laker fans and Suns fan into an argument .........

San Antonio1
L.A. Lakers2
New Orleans3
Utah4
Houston5
Phoenix6
Dallas7
Golden State8

So as you can see the Suns wont be playing the Spurs or the Lakers .

So what was the point of this thread .

Oh wait , Its one of those What If threads .... Ha ...MY BAD ...

But hey , I give you credit on trying since you did bait KobeD to come on here and post his usual ignorant post that he makes all over realgm , and you did do a good job pumping up the Suns fan here too .

:noway:

Heres an idea , why dont you post this same thread on the Laker board and see what kind of response your going to get from the Laker fans..

I bet you it will be locked within minutes ....

We can still play in the Western Conference Semifinals, or even the Western Conference Finals. That's the point.

Yes I do agree , but my point is the way the question is asked .

Why not just post .

When the playoffs start who would you rahter play in the first and who in the second ......

Not ... well the Laker fans are rubbing the SUNS FACE IN THE DIRT ....
