Story is pretty good, i hope no one has posted it... seems like all of our players are really confident right now... i think this "easy" schedule is coming at the perfect time to get our guys on a roll going into the playoffs.

our players think they can do it , what about yall??
Summertime and the livin's easy....

Even if the Pistons somehow only went 11-10 over their last 21 games, the Magic would still have to go 15-4 just to tie them in the win/loss column.

So basically, no - barring a Mets-like collapse.

you guys are probably correct... but it is good to see the team making goals like this ... they are striving to get get better .. svg is a very good motivator it seems... he definately seems to get the most out of his players

The top 3 will remain the way it is right now. from 4th down its anyone's guess, I think the Cavs will take the 4th and Raps 5th. New Jersey will catch both 76ers and the Wiz for 6th spot, wiz 7 and the Bulls the 8th leaving the 76 out of the playoffs.

1- Boston
2- Detroit
3- Orlando
4-Clevland
5- Toronto
6- New Jersey
7-Washington
8- Chicago

Ah, remember two years ago when Jameer said all we have to do to make the playoffs is to win all the rest of the games, and there was no reason we couldn't do that. If he had been right about winning out getting us in the playoffs, we would have made it, since the team didn't lose until after they had been eliminated. This is a better, more mature team, and if they decide to win the rest of the games, they can do it. I don't think that will put us ahead of the Pistons, but it sure would create some confidence in the playoffs.

the Magic will not catch the Pistons - the question is will the Pistons catch Boston?

I like that Stan is trying to get them to think that way though

No.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Thinking about this further, what one could ask is whether StM should set a team goal to catch the Pistons. This is a path to motivate victories in what could otherwise be a slumping path to the #3.

The Magic could go 16-3 and be #3; the Magic could go 10-9 and be #3. Which of those two do you think StM wants?

no, we can't i really could care less cause we will end up with either new jersey or washington and we'd face the pistons in the second round and the only "advantage" we would have is that we'd have home court against them but whatever, it really wouldn't make a difference IMO
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

Sure. I don't think it's likely but it could happen. Home court in the second round would be nice.

I totally agree - couldn't be said better.

Again, I like Stan's tactics though.

Next year - yes we could overtake them.

well the good news is that the pistons are without Wallace and they are having a hard time with the Kincks. I the Knicks win tonight that would help our cause.
