I'd take Penny as well. There was just something about his style of play that was so appealing. I enjoyed watching his game more than Jordan or Kobe. Amazing, amazing player. And before his freak accident he was a relatively healthy player.

the sad thing about penny from his tenure with the Knicks, is you would watch him play, and you would see what he wanted to do, but his body just couldn't do it. He was a very good player, and for people that say Shaq made him, check out his last season before the injury.

Penny definitely had a smoother game, he was more fun to watch. He didn't have the same impact that Wade did though, certainly not as aggressive and Wade's aggression is what won the Heat their first title.

Penny didn't have the same impact Wade did. He had an even greater impact than Wade did.

Wow, I never thought I'll be the first one to say Wade here.....I'm one of the biggest Penny homers ever....but eventhough Penny gets underrated on these boards, IMO Wade has surpassed him a few years ago. (but the gap is extreamely small) Penny's carrier was doomed from day one due to his personality....he never had the self confidence in him to be a force like Kobe and Lebron (or even Wade), eventhough he may had more pure talent then them (except maybe LeBron.) Court-vision, passing ability, defense, unselfishness, athleticism, hoops IQ, shooting, all around scoring ability, clutchness he got everything...he was just too nice.

Yeah I know what you mean, he made the game look like childs play. I would take a healthy Penny as well.

Talent wise? Penny.

Simply put had egos, attitudes, and later injuries not torn them apart, the mid-90s Magic team, by all rights, should have dominated for the next 6-8 years.

I suppose you should likely add "missed freethrows" to that list as well.

Obviously Wade. Wade won it with a declined Shaq while Penny could not win it with dominant Shaq and nick. No need to hate. Just face facts.

Well if we're facing fact, why don't you face the fact that Penny and Shaq played against Hakeem and Drexler, while Wade played against Dirk and Howard. And then there was that guy Michael Jordan.

Just so you know, that Dallas team won a lot more games than the Houston team that beat the Magic.

Yeah, the Heat won because Wade is a great player. Better than Penny.

Oh yeah, I forgot how much the regular season counts in the playoffs.

The Mavs took down the Spurs that season, you think that the Spurs aren't a very good team?

You think good teams don't care how they do in the regular season? The Spurs coast in the regular season and they get 60 wins.
