(1) It doesn't seem to be getting him canned.
(2) When the owners speak publicly, they seem either ignorant or derisive of the fans/writers complaints.

So for you to say that this constant stream of vitriol is worth it is fallacious, in the fact that it is not working. It hasn't worked for 3.5 years. If he (and Woodson) is released at the end of his contract (since that would seem to be what is likely to happen, just as they did with Stotts), it will not be because of anything any of us have or will say.

So if it isn't working, then how is it worth it?

And if being a Hawks fan, to you, is like being kicked in the nuts, then why don't you stop being a Hawks fan, and go find some other team that needs ultra-negative fans to "support" it? (You know, I lived in Philly for a time, and am still a Phillies and Eagles fan, and still find these Hawks fans to be some of the most negative around.)

The Hawks currently have the longest playoff drought in the league which may be extended this year.

The Hawks have owners suing each other with no end in sight.

the hawks have a GM whose moves are a laughingstock around the league (Shelden promise before the combine? WTF).

The Hawks have a coach who is clueless but somehow can't get fired because he has Gearon in his pocket.

Tough to be positive right now.

Despite all that, the Hawks are only a game out of the playoffs, and have the weakest remaining schedule in the NBA.

Will it be frustrating? Sure. Will I be yelling at my TV? Absolutely.

But am I thinking positively? Why not. Maybe positive thoughts will help this team. (Nothing else seems to be working.)

I doubt divine intervention could help right now.

Yeah, I didn't like Babcock and I don't like BK. If I admit that I thought Babcock did a worse job than BK, which he did, does that absolve BK of the terrible decision making he's done? No.

I'd honestly rather have Babcock than BK. With Babcock, at least we were a perrenial 50-win 2nd round team. With BK, we are a perrenial 28-win top 5 pick team.

Babcock may have traded Nique, but he still turned Rumeal Robinson into Mookie Blaylock, traded for Steve Smith, hired Lenny Wilkens, and signed Deke, our anchor for years to come.

BK passed on Paul, who could've been our Nique, signs Woody, and built this frankenstein of a team that still can't play .500 ball after 4 years of rebuilding.

Babcock has a worse reputation that BK. He didnt catch a lot of heat right away because we were a good team and it took a while for him to ruin everything. But overall Id say atlanta fans dislike Babcock alot more than BK. Billy knight is not liked, Babcock is known to be the one who traded Nique for Manning. Babcock will go down in history as the one who traded away our franchise player and destroyed the Hawks. plus, he traded Smith for JR Rider
