Just had a thought

Post#1 » by S.I.C. GM » Fri Mar 7, 2008 7:19 pm

Just wanted to see what you guys think. I doubt this happens.

I say during the off season we push VC on Zeke.

VC, Hassel and our first and second round picks.

for

Marbury and their first and second round picks.

If Zeke doesnt get fired, he will have to be in a win now situation or if he does get fired, there was a rumor that management may revisit a previous VC trade.

We buyout or waive or whatever Marbury. I am willing to include Boone if we have to sweeten the deal.Hope the pick is top 5 and we let Thorn do his magic with the Dallas pick and Knicks early second pick. I looks like we maybe going to be looking for atleast one other big in the draft. If we can get Diop to sign, and let krstic get the summer off, we would have Diop, Krstic, SWill, Swift, draft pick.

Like I said I doubt this happens, but it is a thought. Whatcha Think?

Didnt boston trade their #5?

Maybe Zeke dreams of pulling something off like that. Like Dalas thinking getting Kidd was going to help them win a championship.

No. Why do we trade VC (the best player in the deal) PLUS our firsts (one as a lotto pick) and second round pick?

1- 2010
2- I only agree with you if we tank the rest of the year. If we make it to the playoffs, we are not in the lottery. Right now we are out of the lottery.

^^ I hope so, but I we should shut Krstic down and sit RJ more to guarantee it. I am against tanking, but I wouldnt mind it.

I actually really like this deal and it seems like the Knicks would bite for it.

Ray Allen was traded with crap for Jeff Green at the five to the Celtics so anything is possible.

I don't know if you just missed typed it but we do not have Dallas' second round pick, it got taken out of the deal I do believe.

We'd have the 5th pick and the 20th would would be sweet.
