For our second round pick, I'd like to get John Riek and put him in the D-League for a year.

He can be anywhere between the ages of 18 - 25 but if we get lucky, he's actually younger but changed it so he could enter the NBA early.

A big project but looks like he could turn into something.

From where we are right now, I want Tyler Smith. He's the only thing that resembles a 2 guard from where we're picking.

In the lottery other than Beasley...I like Gordon.

I don't think Dallas will make it to the playoffs. The lost 3 in a row. They are 4-5 with Kidd. The 4 wins are against crappy teams....Memphis, Minny, Chicago & Sac. I really doubt they make it. It's very tight in the west anybody can make it?

09-11 thats what we will get. What's the protection on these 2 if any? Anybody know????

If we don't get the number 1 or 2 picks then I would go for eric gordon, jordan, and the guy out of memphis chirs douglas roberts. then with mavs pick a guy like tyler hansbrough or kevin love.

Any college hoops fan here??

If so can anyone tell me a little about tyler smith, Chris Douglas-Roberts and Chase Budinger.

Who's the best shooter of the 3?

Thanks in advance.

Smith actually plays the 4 for Tennesee and isn't much of a perimeter shooter and shoots 71% from the line...Roberts has really improved his outside shooting recently and shoots 67% from the line. Budinger is definitely the best outside shooter, but doesn't have a great mid-range game. Out of the three, I like Budinger the best for the Nets, but wouldn't mind the other two.

We should have with a chancewith our pick at either Budinger, Thabeet or hopefully Eric Gordon if he slips a bit. It'll be between 11 and 16.

Then with the Mavs pick I'd love Shan Foster or Courtney Lee. We could also go for Hendrix, Hansbrough or Hardin.

There should be a few pretty decent players int he 2nd round, DJ White, Malik Hairston, Kentrell Gransberry, Richard Roby.

A perfect draft haul if you ask me would be Thabeet, Foster and Hairston.

Why do we want another offensively challenged big ?

If we'd draft high enough to have a chance get Rose ( obviosly top3 at least ) we should try to get Beasley and not Rose.

I'm with NetsForce, I've been wanting OJ soooo bad. But I disagree with you on wanting Rose, we don't need another PG, we need a legit #1 option and good cornerstone. I agree with Serpo, if the ping pong balls go in our favor then we deff need to take a look at acquiring Beasely. There are a lot of picks that I wouldn't be too upset about though. JaVale Mcgee, Nicolas Batum, Thabeet, Gordon, Randolph, Tyler Smith and so on. It's a really deep lottery draft this year so thats good. With the second first, a guy like Brandon Rush would be nice.

well beasley is definately going first so we'd probably need either the 2nd or 3rd pick to get rose.. I think we actually have a legit shot at getting Gordan. He is probably going to go at somewhere around 7 so its possible
