they played great tonight, gave great effort, and showed alot of passion. But many nights they haven't done this. No, you can't expect a blowout every game, but the effort and the passion have to be there....and tonight there was alot of teamwork...something that lacks more frequently than not... and everyone is making posts at the end they say..."hope they take this momentum and put up a solid showing against the Spurs."

That's the point with this team...I cheer my a$$ off for them, I want them to be great...but sometimes many of us on here seem to want to win more than team does. You just don't know what you will get with this team... You know the talent and ability is there...you just want to see it more consistently.... that's all.

There isn't alot of hoping of consistent effort in Detroit or San Antonio...you know 95% of the time the effort and teamwork will be there.

If they play even 80% of what they did tonight they will make the playoffs, and could be a tough out, but will probably get the Spurs or Lakers, if they make it. It's a great win tonight.... again let's hope they can play consistent basketball and get on a hot streak!!!!!

yeah, I don't know, I just cheer on every possession and try to keep the silence away.....the silent period absolutely seemed to kill momentum when they played the pistons, and as we all know they lost that game by a couple free throws....a little craziness and we might have squeaked by

I'll tell ya JR responded big time to the noise on the defensive

I'm not sure what happened to the crazy laugh they used to play after every opponent free throw but we had the lowest oppoent FT% for a while

all I can say after being to these Nuggets games in the recent past is one or two possessions off and the momentum and the fire can slip away quick

I figure....make some noise and get them at least excited to be there

But I liked Carmelo's effort on the offense glass. Now if only Camby would exert a little effort on that end too...

I also saw a lot more screens than in the Houston game, and AI passed the ball a lot more.

Good game. Let's hope they don't get too cocky now. The Spurs are going to play a completely different type of game so they better be ready.

I guarantee yo udon't see any of that against SA. Melo won't get as many o-boards because SA is a much better rebounding team. And even if he does, he won't be putting back as many.

Iverson won't pass as much because first of all the role players won't hit as many shots due to actually playing a team that plays defense. Also to the fact that a lot of those passing lanes will be closed up due to playing a very good defensive team.

The key against SA will be playing the defensive game of their lives. They're statistically already a good defensive team, but they'll have to be much better. Let SA get 105-110 points, Denver will lose.

It will also be nice to get JR to hit 4-5 threes. That could be the difference in a defensive battle.

And frankly, I wouldn't take too much from this game because Phoenix is just flat out bad right now. Their scoring has taken a hit and their defense has gotten MUCH worse.

Wow all i can say is this is the Nuggets i want to see play all the time. From the beginning to the end they played like a real team. They played off off each other perfectly. They passed and scored brilliantly, and played the best defense for a full whole game maybe of the season. They really showed passion and incredible effort. Carmelo rebounded very well and the steals was off the charts. And we didn't turn the ball over that much. If we play defense like we played tonight against the Spurs on Friday we will win that game!

And to all of you Iverson haters there's no way you can hate how he played tonight he got 31 points and 12 assists exactly what we needed form him tonight. I do agree that he needs these kinds of performances on a more consistent basis. He was very agressive and made sure he took it hard to the hole on most possessions. Carmelo also played a balanced offensive game shooting sweet jumpshots and took it to the paint real hard. Even Carter went off with 11 points and 11 assists. I notice when Carter plays well usually the whole team does. And i can't forget Jr. Smith's 6 out of 8 threes he was lighting it up out there! And how about all those sweet alley oops we were making let's just say i was very happy with tonight's performance. Please Nugs let's do it again!

The Spurs haven't been that great on the road this year and it's a bk to bk for them. Hopefully the Spurs will be somewhat tired and the Nuggs run them out of the building. Keep it rollin

Good win, im happy they steped up knowing this was a must win game, everyone played well and when ai gets a double double were almost unbeatable, ai needs to do more of this and probs to melo for playing with heart and hustle, he was a beast tonight.

Hopefully they'll carry this momentum into the spurs game, should be a good game plus were playing at home so i have faith they'll pull off a win.

13-0 when more than 30 team assists
12-1 when Iverson assists >=10
11-5 when Carmelo goes double-double (I view this as an *skewed* offensive stat because when Carmelo has 10+ rebounds it's because his work on the offensive glass)

I would like to find a stat that implies that JR on the court making treys -> team wins, but amazing JR efforts (the 43 bomb vs. Chicago) sometimes comes when the team is 20 points behind, and we got L'd up, despite JR.

Talent is there. Always has been.

Now... San Antonio!!!!

You could even say JR's defense was a major factor - he did not chill on defense I don't think for a single possession.

on and odd note, are we gonna get into the playoff because the Suns are going to fall out... Crazy... Guess that Shaq trade could look even worse in the future now.

Knicks fan here, I saw your game on ESPN(knicks getting owned by LeBron wasn't worth watching)

If you play like this every night you'd be a top 5 team in the NBA. The talent is there.

Great game. Started out a bit slow, but had a nice run in the second, and really did a good job of controling the game from that point on. Defense was great tonight, very active, and every time Phoenix made a run someone came up with a big shot to stop the momentum.

Looking forward to two very big games this weekend, we will need this type of energy to both to have a shot at winning.

now we need you here for the next 20+ games.

If I have to put this board and this team on my back, I guess I'll do it.

it would take veeery much time to make the graphics in both colors for every team ;) another problem is that there aren't always pictures in both colors for every player available. especially when a player isn't that long on the team ;)
