David West likely to miss Rockets showdown

Post#1 » by HTown34s » Fri Mar 7, 2008 11:34 pm

Just heard via sports radio 610 that West is likely to be out for Saturday's game . I think our chances of extending the streak just went up by 20% (even though I believe we'll win with him in the lineup)

No link as of yet.

Thoughts?

EDIT: David West likely to miss Rockets game

David West (ankle) is expected to be out for Friday's game against the Nets and Saturday's game against the Rockets.

Oh, alright. Thanks HTown.

So this mean he won't play today either right? If the hornets lose today, then tomorrow game will be the deciding factor for the 3rd seed.

Disadvantages to Hornets:

Lose 2nd best player.

Play back to back game.

Play a red-hot rockets team on the road.

I like our chances!!!

Well, we in this board, the whole Rockets organization and even Mr. Leslie Alexander's dog should know by now that we cant take any game for granted, because by the time that that happen, bye bye winning streak.

We need to go to the basketball court and believe that we are gonna play the 95-96 Chicago Bulls with his Big Bull Michael Jordan, even thought is the 2007-2008 Miami Heat...

Did you just compare the Hornets to one of the worst teams in the NBA?

No West or not they are good and it's going to be a tough game, however I'm happy he isn't playing because that guy never seems to miss against us.

Chris Paul is a baaaaaaad man though, he strikes fear into the hearts of bunnies everywhere.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Wow this is a great break considering they are not the deepest of teams. Still have Peja, Chandler and of course CP3 though, but hopefully we can take advantage.

Chris Paul still kills us unless Skip has another great defensive game in him.
