1) Jamison (More for his rebounding than defense)
2) Nick Young (Playmaking and shot making. Two sick dunks added in. You can see his confidence growing. Ditto with DMAC)
3) Mason (A true professional. Its a shame we'll likely lose him in the off-season, but he deserves the full mle (some team will give him that. Hopefully a western conference team like the Spurs)).

First of all, I'm diggin' the new avi, WizStorm.

Second of all, my player of the game...

1. Jamison - monster statline, clutch in the 2nd half, consistently solid rebounding.

3. Mason Jr. - Consistently hit open (and sometimes, not so open) shots. He always comes up big against the Raptors and this continues tonight.

3. Young - got us back into the game with a few 3's and emphatic dunks.

Jamison, of course. 25 points, 16 boards and huge free throws and rebounds in overtime. I've long thought that Jamison is just about the worst clutch free throw shooter on the team. No more. Something changed this year. I love the way he fights through fatigue, nagging injury and tough starts to games. He's a real fighter. I love his spirit even more than I love his game.
Satan is happy with your progress.

1. Jamison. His shooting was awful in the first half but he was clutch down the stretch. He missed 7 of his first 8 shots, and went 8 of 14 from the floor and 6 of 6 from the line thereafter including 4 of 4 in OT. Oh yeah, and he grabbed 16 boards.

2. Young. I really liked his game tonight. He made some nice passes, he hit some key threes, and his defense was actually pretty good.

3. Stevenson. An unsung hero. He played some rock-solid D on Calderon. Calderon is a ridiculously efficient player and Stevenson held him to sub-.500 shooting with 3 turnovers.

have to go with Antawn in this one. 25 and 16 after starting off shooting horribly.

again, didn't see the game. I haven't seen a lot of our wins lately, it's kindof sad.

AJ, of course. N1 and Mason honorable mention. Also gotta mention Blatche and how he handled ALL the perimeter players he faced, not just Barney.
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

AJ. Good shot selection in the 3rd and 4th, and made a lot of rebounds.
I was tempted to go Nick Young...

i actully voted for blatche. aj is the obvious choice but blatche was the one who stopped the bleeding when the raps went on that 16-0 run. bargs was burning wood the entire first half and when blatche put was put on him, he cut down bargs' open looks. he also did a great job guarding the perimeter is multiple situations.

Good job guys. As a troll from the Raptors board, I vote Roger Mason Jr.

No way for Nick Young. He took some awful shots tonight, including several long threes 5 seconds into the shot clock when we needed to buckle down, run the O and get a high percentage shot. Mad skillz but no BBall IQ from what I can see.

But if your criteria for player of the game is nice dunks, which it seems like it is for several of y'all that voted for him, then fine. Why don't we make up a team of Chris Andersen, aka The Birdman. Fred Jones must be around somewhere, right? He won it once. And we could probably get Harold Miner to come out of retirement. He won it TWICE. That team would ROCK! [/sarcasm]

Its got to be AJ with a gutsy performance leaving it all out there, bad back and all. Then RMJ who was REALLY the bench star for us.

Pts: RMJ 18, NY 14
In less minutes (24 vs 29)
And more efficiently (6-9 vs 6-13)
With good 3 pt shooting (4-6 vs 2-5)
And less TOs and more boards than Nick

In fact, I'll go out on a limb and change my vote. RMJ for player of the game! As undermanned as we are, we badly needed someone unexpected to step up and have a quality night. Daniels and Stevenson didn't get it done, but RMJ came off the bench to save the game. Without him, AJ's solid night is all for naught.

AJ, I can't vote for Stevenson b/c he seems to want to regress the team back to "dribble, dribble, dribble, bad shot." When Jamison goes one on one, he's at least usually doing it from the post which I can live with.
