Russell...

Russell would often have the ball on the way to a guard starting the break with a strong, accurate pass before his feet even hit the floor.

Russell's outlet pass was a thing of beauty.

I go with Russell as well. Wes Unseld deserves some huge props; so does Walton.

Wilt was terrific at the outlet pass after he joined the Lakers...but his assist numbers with Sixers were a result of him being asked to change his game. Wilt actually played high post on offense under Hannum--and ended up averaging over 8 assists a game in those two seasons.

Bill Laimbeer was an excellent outlet passer for the stones.

Russell and Walton.

After Walton lost his ability to run he was still an effective rebounder and outlet passer.

Being able to throw the outlet pass is such an underrated skill, just watch Kevin Love do it and you can see what a great advantage it is to have.

Wow, someone said CWebb and I do remember when he was avg 10+ reb and his one handed tosses to Start the Adelman fast break.

Arvydis Sabonis played his best basketball in Europe but I remember him in the trailblazers still being the best passing bigman in the league. either hand, behind the back, no look , everything.

And the only reason I remember Rodman was his two handed downcourt passes to Isiah Thomas, Mario Ellie, MJ, or Scottie. ~15 rebounds allows for a lot of passes, + high baskeball IQ and to look down court 1st .
