24 seconds into the 2nd quarter and Thornton picks up his 3rd foul. :nonono:

We've done a good job drawing fouls so far (but wait...there's 3 on Thornton). Hopefully we keep it up.

We need to take advantage of the Fakes sloppy play early in the 2nd qtr.

31-28 Lakers with 8:41 remaining in the half. That was a nice baseline jumper by Powell to pull us within 3.

Down by 8 at the half. Its not that bad considering Brevin is having an off night, and Al has been out most of the game with foul trouble.

Not as great of a first half as I would've liked to see...but at least it's a manageable deficit. Hopefully our offense gets crackin' in the 2nd half, because the lakers have played a fairly sloppy game so far. We need to take advantage of every mistake they make.

49-41 at the half. Kaman has played very well so far. Gasol is starting to come around though. Powell is continuing to bring in good energy. He has 6 points and 5 boards off the bench. He's 3-3 from the field. Thomas looked very rusty in the minutes he has played. Maggette hasn't done much since the first quarter. He and his 20, plus drawing some fouls will be needed. Thornton just needs to stay out of foul trouble, I have a feeling he comes off the bench in the 2nd half. If not and he picks up a quick 4th just bench him until the 4th.

Lakers off to a hot start. Radmanovic with 2 quick 3's and the Clips fall behind by 16. 43-59 in the first 2:45 of the 3rder quarter.

2:07 left in the 3rd and Clippers trail by 25. Fisher getting nice open looks and knocking them down, Radmanovic started the quarter with a quick 8 points, Bryant who was scoreless since the first have all just come alive. Clippers.... :nonono:

You know, I think it may be karmic displacement that make for donkey punch games like this. "mj_shoefanatic" seems to think it's hilarious to say all sorts of derogatory things on clippertalk.net about the Lakers. It's no wonder the beat down comes so fantastically.

Perhaps in the future, Billy Crystal, that chick from Malcolm in the Middle, Jack Nicholson, and Dyan Cannon will all get along.
