Miller hasn't done jack all night, so why should he be in? As for Salmons...Garcia is a better threat from long distance.

Come on--that's not why Theus isn't playing Brad.

dude we are down like 11...what crack are you on? It's Minny! We're down 11 at home. That's a clear sign we NEED Artest

I didn't say the Kings are better without Artest. I said Martin is better without Artest. There's a big difference between those 2 statements.

A+ to Theus for letting Hawes and Williams close the game. So far, it seems as though they can't make a good frontcourt duo because Shelden simply isn't athletic enough to be the force on the boards that we need with Hawes. Good defender though.

Hawes has been impressive with his shotblocking this season. He had 4 tonight. Even though he may be soft he is still a 7 footer with length, once he bulks up a little hopefully his post defense will catch up to his weakside D.

maybe because is your starting C and usually you play your best players down the stretch, not some SCRUBS like Shelden Williams
Well our "starting center" got owned by Jefferson all night and got outplayed by that "scrub" Shelded Williams. Why don't you try getting your facts straight before you start whining.

Martin can be just as good with Artest, the reason he scored so many points tonight was because he basically got Artest's touches also. More important with Martin is a coach who can get the most out of him(not Theus so far) and a PG such as Paul or Williams.

Have u guys looked at our remaining schedule? Probably one of the toughest in the league and with the way the Kings are playing its a real possibility we can catch up with some of the bottom teams

I don't think the Hawes/Williams front court duo should be judged based on how they perform at the end of this season. They need a lot more time practicing and playing together before they can be expected to be a real "duo".

losing @home against one of the worst team in the league while your best players are on the bench is embarassing.......

I agree. This game made it clear that the Kings need more than one option on the offensive end to win games. We also miss Artest's defense.

I haven't looked at the schedule but I am assuming we must be playing Miami, Atlanta, Minny, and the Clips many more times.

 like not having Brad Miller on the floor at the end with the way he was playing tonight was really the reason we lost. You are really starting to prove that you didn't watch the game and you just want to bash Theus' coaching for some reason. And what other "best players" are you talking about? Artest? In case you didn't notice (you probably didn't because it is obvious you didn't watch the game), he was a DNP because of a sore foot. Are you talking about Salmons? Salmons has been far too inconsistent this year to be considered a reliable player.

Theus had guys on the floor at the end who acted like they wanted to play...they just don't have a clue how to win.

3 or 4 games back i said that i didn't even want to think about how bad this team would be without Artest. Well, some of you may have thought that i was wrong. I think we could get even worse.

These past two games against the dregs of the NBA, we have stunk up the floor! Without Artest! I would have rather gone to the dentist and i hate dentists, than suffer through this terrible display of young unorganised, self important, junkers, with a couple exception allowed, trying to play basketball.

Artest takes the pressure off everybody else...and he handle's it day in, day out. He, is the key to this team, not, who we may get for him.

Just my opinion.

Agree. On paper they actually make quite the complimentary duo in fact. More time is needed for sure and hopefully that will be plentiful in the coming months/years.

Theus sent a message tonight and it was well deserved. The young guys got more experience and that is what we need to be focusing on people! There is no miracle comeback this year. It's going to be a long summer and this franchise needs to get a look at all the young players it's stacked up for the last couple of years.

I just hope Quincy starts to find his way, he is dangerously treading water right now and if he doesn't he may sink to the bottom of "Bust Lake". Needs more minutes.

Tonight was a weird night, the vets let the Wolves get hot and no matter what team it is, it's the NBA and when you let that happen the floodgates will open every time. Our young lineup kept pretty much even the rest of the game. That's not bad considering they have never really play together before!!!

Hawes/Williams looked good to me. I haven't seen that kind of shotblocking in Sac in a long time. Shelden isn't the greated in terms of moves in the post but he should be getting more calls than he gets. He creates a lot of contact in there and rarely gets a whistle. There were flashes from some of the youth tonight. Crowd was dead, team was dead, a stinker for sure but that experience is priceless for these guys.
