its not only frank's fault................is brian hill's and cartwright's as well,i mean dont they tell frank his clearly stupid decisions??

btw sixers won so now they're 3 games above us,and our next two games are against dallas and houston

impossible road trip, sixers winning streak, what else can happen to the nets?!?!! :banghead: :banghead:

I mean Allen and Wright sucked but they somehow managed to score some points but Hassel and Swift can't . WTF Swifts only taking jumpers he's not posting up or attacking the basket .

I haven't expected much from him but this is just awful , we could have kept Twin and it wouldn't have made much difference.

How can you diss Swift in 3 posts when he played 5 minutes and attempted two shots? I couldn't watch the game tonight but he didn't commit any turnovers or any fouls...so how come he was benched for the rest of the game again?

I agree that he's shooting way too much but they ain't running plays for him to perform as he needs to so he relies on his jumper...

I expect him to do more then shoot his god damn jumper , since he's not hitting it consistently . No movement nothing just standing there and as soon he was the ball he just shoots .

And i'm pretty sure there are also plays run for Swift thats where he ends up with the jumpers ( It looks like he runs plays for everyone which isn't the best decision )

On defense he was also not great , if Sean wouldn't commit so often he would clearly get his minutes back .

Proof that Chris Paul is overrated.

so 2 year later Frank still hasn't figured how to break Zone defenses or maybe it's the hapless shooting of the players, or just a mix of both.

W/ a Zone a big man who can score in the box would really help but that's basically leaves it up to Krstic. As far as shooters there's really no one consistent and I'd say only Marcus / Vince / Boki and RJ can take any type of perimeter jumpshot with a semblance of confidence.

Is it me or does VC have better passing instincts then Harris ? Harris seems to see passes that aren't there any his outlet passes are not on the money (this is where I really miss Kidd).

What's up w/ VC's 3 pt shooting. He had some wide open looks & clanked them...one could have cut the lead down to 7 going down the stretch and it was WIDE open, he's gotta make those.

So how bad is Boone now that Kidd is gone. He's been playing softer than a VC/Wade voodoo doll. Dont' know what the Nets can do w/ him since he has to be w/ playmakers like VC in the starting unit to be even somewhat effective. I can't imagine how this guy would score w/ the bench unit but man I'd like to see SWat pair up with Krstic in the starting unit because he can bring some defensive intensity & a bit of scoring ability.

RJ has become a planet onto himself. Anytime he touches the ball these days he pounds it far too long before deciding what to do, and the majority of the time that completely destroys Nets ball movement. The intense gravity around RJ when he has the ball sucks in all things around him.

Outside of that awful fade away hook shot late in the game Krstic looked pretty good and he should have gotten way more plays called for him / run through him.

Without Boki the bench is disastrous. Only Marcus has a somewhat dependable scoring ability. Diop & Hassel have almost no offensive skills and therefore should never be on the floor together and Swift is so passive it's perplexing.

SWat needs to get his head out of his arse. Sometimes I wonder if he's even trying out there. It seems he's just running around trying to set up block attempts. He needs to just play position defense for now & block out for rebounds. Go back to basics and get some minutes back.

and why is VC (the "softie" on our team) the only guy who seems to be hitting the opposing team hard on fouls. When VC looks like the enforcer on your team you know your team is SOFT !!

on another note Chris Paul is the man and completely toyed with the Nets.
He has Kidd like vision and is tough as nails. He might be the best 1 in the league right now. It was a pleasure to watch that skill on display.

He's had 2 good games out of 9 since Kidd's departure (2nd game in Indiana and Orlando game).
he's had another 2 ok games (1st official game w/o Kidd in Chicago & Milwaukee game)
the rest has been junk and he's played so soft on offense & defense

he's had nights of
2 pts , 4 rebounds vs pacers
6 pts, 7 rebounds vs spurs
6 pts, 4 rebounds vs spurs
6 pts, 4 rebounds vs grizzlies
4 pts, 7 rebounds vs Hornets

He can't seem to create his own shot and can't finish strong at the rim regularly without gathering himself allowing defenses to react so to compensate he tries to make fast shot attempts. No one is being bothered by our bigs in the paint so they attack the rim with impunity.

That was the point, Boone's seemingly decrease in offensive production is a result of him getting less touches / shot attempts.

The 4 or so less minutes Boone has been getting doesn't explain the eggs he laid in the last 5 games unless those 4 minutes were REALLY PRODUCTIVE, and that's only considering the offensive side of the ball.
He's been VERY SOFT on defense also.

I wouldn't mind seeing a change in the starting unit as follows:
C - Diop
PF - Krstic
SF - RJ
SG - VC
PG - Harris

Diop would add some defensive toughness and there would be enough guys on the floor (spec. Krstic) than can score to hide Diop's lack of offensive skills.

Then Marcus / Boone can work their Huskies magic off the bench.
