Why is DQ not playing the whole game. Jason Williams makes my eyes water. And as i type that he misses the layup.

jason williams ,

i like the guy, i think he was a solid pro,

BUT HE SUCKS real bad now . the guy can NOT, i repeat can NOT finish in traffic. he must be shooting 5 percent on those layups he pegs off the backboard, its pathetic, ive never seen an nba starting point guard be sooooooooooooo bad at layups.

and then thje guy is shootin the 3 terrible, and on top of that hes never heard of a mid range jump shot.

i mean the guy is just a terrible terrible ball player and to watch him is real funny.

and alexander johnson has to be the biggest pussy i have ever seen on the offensive end. i mean ben wallace is smoother on offense.

and marion has been missing SO many layups as well,

wtf is wrong with this team. i swear to god i hope everyone besides wade mourning banks quinn wright and cook are gone next year

They realize now that they stink.

They are playing sloppy because they have nothing but the worst record in the NBA looking back at them in the standings and nothing they can do this year will earn them a playoff spot.

A good offseason of draft picks, rest, and maybe a good free agent signing will do wonders.

The best thing for this team is to lose as many games as possible :)

The reality is that were this bad and even Pat has come to his senses and will now "miss" games to scout talent. Winning would be the worst thing this team could do at this point. Something sad to consider Marion at pf is putting up UD numbers :(

Whats the point in being the #1 worst record if that position almost never gets the #1 pick anyway?

I'd rather finish 4th or 5th worst and get #1 pick like what happened last year.

That was a long shot though..it doesnt matter if the worst record has never ended with the 1 pick..worst record is the best chance at having the 1st pick.

Its getting old coming on here and every post is the same all of you guys saying "hope we lose tonight" and "losing is what we need" "Don't win!!" Its really disappointing when guys that are mods and veteran posters write that kinda trash.

We all know if you lose you get more ping pong balls, no reason to bring it up 95% of all posts.
You're free to say anything you want (as long as it's within the rules) as much as anyone else wants to say (given those same rules); and he did.

If you don't much care for it, then just avoid it. Simple.

I agree...

to miamiheatfan2004...

Look we ALL feel bad about the heat losing this much.. especially since there were so much expectation for this season after the 4-0 sweep of the bulls..

but **** happens.. and we have to realize that pat is trying to fix it right away..

yes it sucks to watch this team lose in 30 point blowouts.. but the only hope for us is the draft..

that is the ultimate fix right now for us.

so yeah, if having the worst record in the league give us a better chance of getting the #1 pick, then so be it.. look ask the general board and ask them if they consider the heat the worst team in the league.. and the majority of them will say no..

everyone knows that we're tanking..

Once we lose, I am happy after the loss cuz I know we have more ping pong balls.

But, during a game you never say die. You never hope to lose during the struggle. I play a lot of sports and am very competitive, so maybe you guys aren't like me and are used to losing, I am not.

I hate to lose and hate for any of my teams to lose.

I know more ping pong balls = more chance at the #1 pick, I know losing games = more ping pong balls. I still will not hope we lose before or during any games.

^I watch every Heat game hoping the Heat will come out and put up a fight, but that hasn't been the case all season long. And I know the heat will show lackluster effort in future games to come. As a fan I'm frustrated, but I've grown to accept the reality of the situation. Don't let talks about ping pong balls fool you. Every Heat fan feels pain as they watch games, but some choose to channel their anger through sarcasm. As for me after a loss I'm happy because its one more game closer until the end of the season.

Your right in saying all fans are channeling their anger in differnt ways. But i for one still enjoy the games. I know what i am watching and i know that in the nba the best way and the quickest way to be come good is through the draft and the hardest thing to find is a Star and we already have one in wade. For me i still look forward to watching the heat. Some games i get alittle angry but for the most part i know before the game starts what to expect. The only thing this year that has really pissed me off is Jason williams. If anything look at the bright side flash, Now we know who the real fans are. I remmber during the finals i would yell at all the fans and telling them to scream and they would sit there and i would say you guys are bandwagen fans and they would scream "No Ive been coming for years" and now i got to the game and i have not seen them hahah

I hope through every game we're going to win but console myself with ping pong ball thoughts when we lose.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders
