Interesting comparisom. Arguing Iverson as the superior offensive player for both scoring volume and efficiency! When has that ever happened? Of course Baron is superior on both playmaking and defense but his fragility is a problem. I'd take Baron but it's reasonably close.

I'd take Baron in a close one. AI can flat out play but Baron's just been incredible this season.

Iverson is still one of the best offensive players in the league, and his speed negates Baron's size. I'd go with AI.

Baron: 21.9 PPG, 42.7 FG%, 32.8 3PT%, 5.7 FTA, 74.4 FT%, 8.0 APG.

Iverson 26.8 PPG, 45.0 FG%, 33.2 3PT%, 10.0 FTA, 81.6 FT%, 7.3 APG.

Steals are similiar as well and Baron plays a little better defense.

Can't go wrong with either, but AI has been better his whole career and still better now at 32.

That is the absolute only reason. Whoever says Baron is a way better playmaker is wrong. If AI wanted to avg. 12 assists, he could with no problem and in GS he would come close.

I think Iverson is having a really underrated year. He's been fantastic. But he just really, really can't play defense. Every time I watch him play it I giggle. I mean, its just not there. He's defending the ball, not the man.

I'd still take Iverson, because as good as Baron CAN be defensively, I've seen him play AI-fence all too often.

I've always been a big Iverson fan so I'm tempted to choose him, but I think I'd take Baron if I had to pick one. Iverson is easily the better scorer, but as far as getting his team-mates involved and playing defense, Baron has proven to be the more effective one over his career, but that's not to say that Iverson couldn't be an equal playmaker if he chose to focus on that.

Baron Davis, because He can impact a game in multiple fashions, whether it's in play making or defense.

i take Baron Davis, but it's pretty close.
