This team showed once again that they still have alot of room left to mature. I have noticed some bad habits/trends:
Dave Steele said that the Magic are 1-19 when trailing after 3 quarters. Which would now be 1-20 after last night. The one game they won was back in the first week of November, second game of the season LOL. So that means the Magic have lost 19 games in a row that they have trailed going into the 4th. Its safe to say that the Magic are an absolutely horrible come from behind team. And when you look at our record it really is suprising and mind boggling that the Magic are that bad at playing from behind. If the Magic are losing after 3 you can leave early and beat the traffic.
Another trend i noticed is that if the Magic get out to an incredibly easy and high scoring first quarter at home that they ussually play lethargic the rest of the game and lose. Its like mentally they get a big head from having things going so easy and they relax. They stop going after rebounds. They stop running the offense. Then they end up getting embaressed. It happend against the Lakers, Nets, Cavs and and GS.
If the Magic want to be taken seriously, those are 2 bad habits that they need to get over.

I knew it. I knew our record when trailing after 3 had to be something horrible. I was at the game last night, and once the third quarter ended, I started thinking about the last time the Magic won while behind going into the 4th, and all I could think about was losses.
It's a terrible trend. The Magic aren't going to make too much noise in the playoffs if they can't even come from behind to beat teams late in games.

Yep, but they're young and lack experience in these fields. Most teams able to come back from huge deficits are vet teams who get tough and lockdown opponents when the time's needed. The Magic hardly do that to anybody, let's hope their shooting and running (and Dwi

One kind of surprising trend for me is they have lost at home to a couple of the West Coast teams they beat on the road -- i.e., Golden State and Lakers. It's not happening every time, but it's happened a couple times. They are good teams so it's not shocking but still.....
I always think it is possible for the Magic to lose to any team that has Baron Davis on the roster. For whatever reason, he likes to beat the Magic. I thought it was just Tracy he wanted to beat, but he's beat the devil out of them a couple times since Tracy left, too.
About the Golden State game in particular, you've got to wonder what happened at halftime. That used to happen more under BHill, but there sure was a turnaround.
