then he would still have to average 20+ppg for rest of his career "not missing a single game".
now let's say he averages 15+ppg for rest of his career (again, not missing a single game). then he would have to retire at age of 40.
i love his game and heart, but i dont think 30000pts is gonna happen.

I could see KG getting burnt out. Keeping up that intensity and focus for 15 years is tough on the body and the constant travel is tough on the mind.

If he plays another 10 years he will definitely do it.
He'll probably finish off his Celtic contract averaging at least 18 points per game and perhaps 70 games per year. In four years, he'd then knock of 5000 of that. Then if he averaged the next six years at 12 points and 60 games a year, certainly possible, that would put him him past 30,000. So if he plays 10 more years, he'll definitely get more than 30,000. He could of course do it in five years if he he plays every game and scores 20 a game.
KG is definitely one of the few players in the NBA I could see lasting into his late 30's or early 40's. He has the heart and desire to play the game, and he takes care of his body better than anybody in the NBA. 30,000 seems doable.
