Rockets fan here, I know exactly how ya Magic fans feel about disrespect. Rockets got 18 wins in a row yet ESPN was saying their 10 game win streak was better

As a matte rof fact the Southeast division right now is no better than CBA teams. Get out of the first round first, take Boston or detroit to 7 game sin the 2nd round then you get some respect. No one is going to respect you because you signed Lewis to a ridiculous contract. Respect here also includes watching Otis not making a sin;ge move to improve this season while all other teams did?

On another note after having watched a bunch of Suns games I still can't believe that many on here feel better about Evans/at SG as opposed to Grant Hill. It's done now, but imagine a line-up of Grant, Turk and Rashard alongside Dwight. The matchup problems for other teams would be wild.

Just ignore that guy posts. Its obvious he has NO IDEA what hes talking about, because he doesn't even have common basketball knowledge.

Our Front court is defiantly our strength NOT our weakness. Maybe you are trying to say back court? The fact that you dont know these simple differences render your whole post useless. Read up on some basketball before you come in here complaining about a 50 win season.

Don't mind flyingvee - he's just bitter his prediction for this team was so far off -

We've already matched the win total prediction - giving him the generous +3.

I didn't read Denton's story, but the Sentinel has a similar one, and I did read that one. "Upset'' sounds like a strong word to me. Still, I think the only way they will be able to fight it is to show progress and win some in the playoffs. And in a lot of cases, they just might just hope to ignore the Magic as in the case of Stephen A. Smith always being upset when the Spurs win because he has to go back to the River Walk instead of enjoying himself in L.A. or on South Beach. Apparently, some of the national media think it's all about them.

The lack of media exposure and publicity is hurting a lot more than simple comments about being "underdogs" or crap like that. This team should be on the cover of most magazines a lot more, and being talked on TV more often, yet they're given as much airtime as lottery squads.

I remember back in the 90s with Shaq and Penny when a similiar season launched Orlando among the top cities and squads in the NBA worldwide, but nowadays it's just Boston this and Lebron that :curse:

Why even argue? You want respect? Win in the playoffs.
"And with Dwight, he's Moses Malone at 22, Shaq at 22 and Tim Duncan.

Or even in the regular season. Just showing up every night and battling to the last second. They'll get there eventually. Win 9/10 or go 16-2 as glyde has calculatingly predicted they would finish, and I'm sure all eyes will be on the magic.

If they want respect, they need to show up. Didn't really do that last night in the 2nd half (normally it's the other way around).

maybe that article was written before the game

Orlando's only loss of the week comes to a .600+ team and Stein drops us THREE spots in his Power Rankings, while at the same time commenting on Dwight's desire to have the Magic get some respect.

I guess irony can be pretty ironic sometimes.

I saw that Ger.

Nba.com and Si.com both moved us up to #9 ahead of cavs in the the midst of all this respect talk.

Stein is such a tool.
