Why do people make a comparison of completely different positions and games? It Just leads nowhere IMO.

Prime Charles was great, but there are very few players in NBA history that can match the play of prime Kobe.

Ok, Lebron hasn't accomplished anything. I don't see where this "he might be the best of all time" is coming from.

He's not even on Wade's level yet. Get a ring first, son. Then let's talk.

His best teammate is on Rick Fox's level. Never had a dominat big man to carry him to a title.

Barkley played with Dr. J, Moses Malone, Kevin Johnson, Tom Chambers, Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, but never won a championship.

This is Kobe, and this comparison actually isn't disrespectful to Sir Charles like the Lebron comparison is.

Lebron needs to play during an era where defense is played, or atleast not take 3 steps or more on every highlight that is shown on sportscenter (this is not a joke, anyone with tivo watch his highlights in slow-mo).

Kobe - If he doesn't go down as the best ever he'll be as close as it gets. People really underestimate Kobe, I wish he was playing in the Jordan era, that would be epic. You know Kobe and MJ would guard each other too. That just makes me say wow.
