I don't think you are better with Gerald gone. But I do think the way things have shaken out, the loss of Gerald has been masked. The loss of scoring has been masked by improvement from Jason and Hammer at just the right time, and the rebounding/hustle has been covered by Dudley.

In the long run, though, you are going to need Gerald.

The one thing that I hope Sam has learned without Crash (besides Dud needs to play) is that he has to play Hammer with JRich, not as his sub. The 2 of them together on the court stretches the D soo much!

Gerald creates his own shot. I think he is very valuable to this team. With him being out has sort of been a blessing in disguise. I feel that the team has been trying to adjust to Wallace this whole season. Maybe it hasn't been the best approach.

So now that Wallace is watching from the sidelines at a McInnis-less Bobcats, he can come back and adjust to this new style. Giving that edge like

" Were playing this well without Wallace, but imagine if he came back! "

kind of thing.

I think he will, he should and I even want him to play against Mavs off the bench.

Because of his recovery, because of our late success...
I'm afraid of starting him and giving him 40+ minutes in his come back after severe concussion.

Crash coming off the bench would be better for the team. He would destroy other teams backups and doesn't need good players around him to excell (like Hammer).

If I know my coaching staff, we are going to insert GWall immediately into the starting lineup, play him 40 min, and not even consider any other options.
