LeBron at his peak

Post#1 » by thierry » Tue Mar 11, 2008 6:34 am

Project what you think LeBrons numbers will be in the best season of his career.

PPG: 33.2
RPG: 9.4
APG: 8.6
SPG: 2.0
BPG: 1.0
TOPG: 3.7
FG%: 51%
FT%: 78%
3PT%: 36%

Those are roughly my projections, what do you guys think will be LeBrons "career year."

Honestly i think lebron has already peaked...i mean come on there is no way he will have anymore threads devoted to him than he has at this moment. The thread count can only go down from here.

Haha LOL

Yeah, Lebron has great handles to average 7 TOPG. It's most likely be around 2-4 TOPG. :D

I think he should be banned from shooting anything but 3PTs... shooting 2pts and attacking the basket is only killing his FG%

Serious underrating of Lebron here, it's ridiculous. He'd put Wilt's stats to shame, easily. I see 90/40/32 on jesus like percentages, if not better.

stats is not everything, he will not have a better season in terms of stats if he have a better team in the next years, wich is likely to happen because players/fa's will want to play with him. Maybe in 4 years Lebron stats are the same (or come down) but he will win more games because he will have a better team and other scorers in the team.

Can we have another Lebron James thread? Please? I never get tired of reading them and his greatness. *rolleyes* Hell, let's make a Lebron subforum on this board. Hell, let's rename the site after him.

Stat wise, he can't really get any better unless he averages a triple double one day, which seems possible the way he's playing.

I do think he'll become a much better defender though, he has all the tools, the length, the size, the quickness and the bball iq to become an elite defender in this league. Once he gets better players around him, I see his ppg going down just a little bit, but he'll be playing that much harder on defense because he won't be forced to do everything on offense.

Lebrons best season will be when he actually makes his team mates better.

At his peak, I think he could average a triple double..

He could still average a triple double if he was surrounded with right tools and played in an up tempo team.

At his peak? It's scary to imagine.

That will never happen. Once the Cavs trade him, Z and Wally will lead the Cavs to the NBA Finals.

I mean, we're talking about a dominant career 14.4/7.9 guy here. Combine him with a career 15.3/4.1/2.6 guy who almost made the all-star team once, and oh sh*t, we're talking dynasty here.
